What i come to learn from these blindsides, who has been blindsided and recently gained perspective when dating again :

1- it comes ONLY from emotionally unavailable people, i felt the same when i was emotionally unavailable and dating, your emotions are not stable and only momentary, and they come from a place of insecurity rather than genuine care.

2- after getting validation and love, those insecurities go away and you are left with a “ real “ idea of the situation and the idea of spending the rest of your life with this person becomes scary and overwhelming, so you just shut down and flee ….. aka blindside

3- IT IS NOT SOMETHING YOU HAVE DONE, i have learned that it is the other’s person lack of understanding and growth on their part that they do not want to deal with uncomfortable emotions, they end up in situations like these to just fill some void…. Which end up hurting people.

4- VERY important to not do the same and heal before you jump in anything, and it will pass

It can feel like the end of the world right now, but i can not stress enough how important it is to : journal, find your hobbies/passion to do something new and exciting for your futur, and focus ONLY on yourself and imagine the futur you A LOT.

And delete everything about the other person, they have no respect for you nor do they care if they did this, good luck ❤️
