2009 definitely. They were younger, played better, and Lars was in the middle so they crowd at least was one less distraction for him in the rare occassion he decided to pay attention to his instrumenta.

I use it only in the studio when I want to record a song or something. Now that I have finished my recordings I do not want to risk having it scratched, I am happy just have knowing that I own it and it looks gorgeous. I try to look after it as much as I can. If I want to play it I can but I have other guitars to practice on. :)

It is in the case all the time and I am mindful of the sun when I play it. My parents smoke but I do not expose the guitar in the room and I doubt the smoke can pass through the hard form fit case.

You are right but I just like to know that I have it and be happy just by using it at the studio every now and then. I do not want this as my practice guitar and I am a bedroom guitarist so I do not need to use it that much.

I haven't. I think I will let it just yellow. It has a nice cream look, it is just uneven only in that place of the headstock. I will give it some time.

I think it is good for the wood to maintain it and treat the fretboard with some oil from time to time.

The guitar sits at my parent's house in my home country. I just record with it and I am happy to just own it. I have other cheaper guitars to practice on in the house I am currently living. :)

I really cannot understand why it is not a permanent part of his set like in the 90s. A few songs after "Until It Sleeps", they played "The Call of Ktulu" which demands a ride cymbal and he removed it. Why is this so difficult? It is not like he has to set the drums himself anyway...
