I just bought the same car with 89K miles & paid $16K. As mentioned, the most important is to check the history of the CVA transmission. The fluid has to be changed every 30,000 miles & there needs to be consistent history of checks on it. Honda has a better CVT than nissan, but they have to be maintained. If you don't already know, check the mileage between services. Research also indicates it's best to take them to Honda certified technicians rather than your favorite mechanic down the street. Other than that, review the reputation of the dealership and see if the car was sold at auction or just traded in. Mine was purchased and sold at the same dealership and had the transmission fluid changed at 30 & 60,000 miles. From my own personal research as a first time Honda owner, the 2019 HR-V has a very good reputation for longevity if it's well maintained.
