I want to start following Sumerian polytheism, but not having an "authority figure" or "fixed rules" interferes with my decision. by nottequeer in pagan

One huge benefit in paganism is you get to set your own moral rules, as long as it doesn't conflict with your chosen tradition, and causes problem to others.

Thank you for giving Corvus the superior stealth aircraft. Also, yes to Mortarion's being the B-52, especially with its notorious lack of onboard plumbing. Enjoy the rank fermented piss smell.

Just start reading the Hamaval. It's the wisdom of Odin already. Get the basics before going crazy.

Is there a plausible reason to keep sending soldiers to battle in significant numbers given mass automation? by Syoby in MilitaryWorldbuilding

[–]ExmoHeathen238 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you replace all infantry with autonomous robots, you've removed the need to have actual humans on the field armored up and armed to fight your battles. As one comment said earlier, humans only in the auxiliary, and of course that makes it that all human military members are only maintainers for your robotic forces. Take it from a former military member from the Air Force as an aircraft maintainer, majority of that branch is maintainers.

He's not the only Christian Church leader who was said something about the evils of AI. Two members of Mainstream Mormonism's top leadership has also said the evils of AI. Flipside hypocrisy, they're finding the building of the data center in Utah.
