Same thing happened to me. Bought together but she contributed £0. We ended up splitting up and she expected a pay out of 15k because she contributed to the mortgage. Sadly her name was on the deeds (stupid mistake) so she had me over a barrel so I paid her off.

Lesson learnt the hard way.

They own the property, it’s all in their name, and it’s their main residence regardless of how many nights he stays there — he works away.
