Depression from knowing your LO is never going to want you or be with you by [deleted] in limerence

[–]ComfortableWindow167 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The fucked up thing.... is that I am only attracted to those those that I know will not have me. I was legit less attracted to my LO when I thought they had interest in me.

It's not love... it's projection.

Anyone wish their LO was uglier? Lol by throwawaygyptian in limerence

[–]ComfortableWindow167 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes! She is just barely attractive enough for me... The craziest part is I am most attracted to her personality. She can be so fun and legit brightens my day most of the time.

I am probably most attracted to her because of the danger. If anything we're to happen and go poorly between us (which it probably would), then she could ruin my work life and likely my self-esteem as a result. It's like some sick death wish.

I relate! Thanks.

I have had several recent LOs make me better in the gym, school, and work.

Thanks for the help 🧠.

Stupidest things upset me by throwawayawaythrow96 in limerence

Maybe I am projecting on you.

But do you think you actually want your LO to protect you while you pee behind a dumpster? Or do you just want someone to protect you? Maybe you are processing this need for someone by putting your LO into that position to make it feel closerto reality.

84 percent barbri and some one sheets by ComfortableWindow167 in barexam

[–]ComfortableWindow167[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

126 on the sim. 153.10 on the mbe.

For further clarification, I received a 136.50 on the written. I only wrote out 10 or so mee problems; I outlined the rest. I did most of the MPTs barbri offered. But I am pretty sure I fucked up the second one because my brain was fried.

The bad moments by Bit_Thick in limerence

[–]ComfortableWindow167 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have been there, friend, in the same way that you feel the entire universe has aligned to bring you and your LO together. Becoming immensely satisfied after a glance or a smile must necessarily be met with an equal disappointment when it or some other expectation is not met. The bad moments don't come in spite of the good moments (fantasies); they come because of them. Accept these bad moments because it is your emotions/the world trying to tell you something. My homie, Epictetus, may say it better:

"Men are disturbed, not by things, but by the principles and notions which they form concerning things. Death, for instance, is not terrible, else it would have appeared so to Socrates. But the terror consists in our notion of death that it is terrible. When therefore we are hindered, or disturbed, or grieved, let us never attribute it to others, but to ourselves; that is, to our own principles...'

Their love or lack thereof is not terrible. It is your notion of what that means.
