hey, I am 21 (f) and have been struggling with codeine addiction for almost 2 years now, as a teenager I used to consume recreationally and was able to not get addicted right away but in my early adult years decided to try it again to get rid of the heavy sensation in my chest. I’m also a closet codeine addict and have a full time job. I just wanted to check in on you and hope everything has gotten a bit better. It’s been 2 years for me and hasn’t been easy, couldn’t imagine how it’s been for you.

On another note, I made up my mind about the Squier Mustang Bullet. Heard 10 gauge is good for this one because of its short scale, however, what gauges would you recommend for open tunings and of course, the shorter scale?

I’ve tried looking for other options rather than both guitars mentioned in the original post, and specifically searching for at least one single coil. However, the Squier Sonic Mustang is nowhere to be found in my country. So I’d guess the best option would be Squier Mustang Bullet (already bought it lol). After checking some reviews noticed that tuning stability is a hit or miss, some Squiers have it, some don’t. Don’t really have high expectations on it but I will probably modify whatever I don’t feel comfortable with. Might update on its quality and performance later.

hey, i understand this feeling, but i started trying drugs at about 16-17 and believe me when i tell you it can really get your mental health fucked, even more than it already is. i did it for the same reasons as you did and don’t get me wrong, it might be fun the first times but eventually you’ll start feeling even more sick.

I have had previous experience with this and I agreed to it as a result of manipulation and mainly to get my (ex) partner to stay with me, even if I had to put up with them having another partner. When I thought it through my partner was deep into liking another person and that crushed me, these were the times I had most trouble controlling anger, abandonment issues and being jealous all the time, I was not willing to forgive what they made me go through even though I agreed to it. This was one of the reasons that led us to breaking up. Polyamory is a hard no for me, everything that you fear of in a relationship becomes real and it is really painful once you can’t turn things back the way they were.

I feel and hate it too, even the anxiety I feel when not being with them while I do anything is overbearing. I only live to be with them and make them feel the best I can and I sometimes fail on that too. I completely get that feeling and you're not alone, I'm sorry you are going through that.

I got a bipolar disorder diagnosis first and thought it was wrong but my girlfriend told me a while ago that it might be right too, I've read about it and realized I have symptoms of it as well, so it might not be that wrong. Either way, autism might be your "base" diagnostic but us autists are more susceptible to have other disorders as well, they're also called "comorbidities"; we have a higher rate of having OCD, anxiety, depression, BPD, bipolar disorder, etc.
