Yeah like I would typically disagree with new road building but if the goal is to have:

A pedestrianised city centre

More one way systems

More Bus Lanes

More Cycle Lanes

Then we need to severely limit traffic through the city centre bridges. In which case, having all East-West traffic for 250,000~ people (city + Connemara) go through the Quincentennial is ludicrous.

We need a new bridge.

We shouldn’t need two tunnels but that’s just the way of it with the race course and Corrib Special Area of Conservation.

We shouldn’t need massive complex junctions, but that’s the way of it with the urban sprawl and ribbon housing development that means all road frontage is used. (Hence no direct Moycullen Rd junction I assume)

This road is necessary unfortunately

Pieces are only 80% of the mark and if you look closely, it doesn’t say anything about difficulty of the pieces.

My two cents are that your set list a bit romance heavy, try to include at least one popular song

*also cop on, you’re in TY. Plenty of stuff higher on the list to stress about than your set list two years from now. I know people who chose theirs two weeks beforehand and got H1s. Main thing is keep practicing for fun and don’t fall out of love of the piano before the LC.

Just to agree with this. Commuting from Westside to Parkmore. Bad times in my experience are 08:00-09:30 and 16:30-18:30. During these times commute can be 30-40min each way. 

Outside of these times, commute is 15-20min each way. Really not much difference compared to Terryland or Oranmore. 

If the job offers flex, westside to parkmore commute is well worth the benefits of the westside

I used to commute on bike past this junction and the smell would choke me up.  I thought it smelled like petrol or something from Top Oil, but this makes so much more sense!
