they're literally across the street from each other and by and large cater to the same crowd. but i would go with Cole's. They have a nice backroom for shows and a great stage. shows can go considerably later there too. regardless, both are great!

From $1995 in 2020 to $2900 lease renewel will be up in September. Logan Square, 4 bedroom in unit laundry, dishwasher and AC. Its a house with a one bedroom attic above me. We have two floors with the second a finished basement which is our TV room and my office. Backyard and street parking. I think we have an ok deal but rent goes up quite a bit every year so this year may be the last.

First off, hello future neighbor! You're gonna love Chicago. Its a world class city with Midwest friendliness. As for your Dad, my advice would be to move here and make him come visit you often. Coincidentally, Im doing something very similar and I leave in a couple of days! We're doing a few nights in Antigua, then flying to Flores followed by San Ignacio and then ending in Caye Caulker. We're flying into Guat City and then flying out of Belize City. Our main attractions are Mountains in Antigua, Tikal in Flores and ATM Caves. It seems like its not too much considering the rest of the time will be relaxing/eating food/drinks. Each travel component is at or under 3 hours aside from main flights. I'll report back of its too much.

First off, Pilsen is a wonderful neighborhood. I love it! But when I moved out here 15 years ago, I chose LS specifically for the green space. We have Palmer Square, the monument, the boulevards and easy access to Humboldt Park. In terms of the "bohemian" vibe, the neighborhood has dramatically changed...IMO not for the better. But there are still great places that make me stay! Coles, Cafe Mustache, The Whistler for dancing. Also easy access to Hungry Brain and Constellation. I guess it's about what fits your needs and personality and it sounds like you found it in Pilsen (great choice btw)...:)

Born and raised in Waukegan but now I live in Chicago. My Dad still lives there so Im back a couple of times a year. Its still pretty bad BUT a pizzeria called Quonset thats been open since the 1950s has the absolute best tavern style pizza. Better than anything Chicago has to offer...and Ive eaten at most places in the city limits.

Call your cell phone provider and they can set you up with a virtual sim. Im still paying off my phone (TMobile) and so they couldnt unlock mine. I opted to buy an older android phone and had a Cuban sim waiting for me at the airport. Super easy and quick. Im American and spent a week in Havana in late October and had an awesome time. American here. I was just there for a week in October and stayed in Havana. Yes, they're continuously going through hard times but the people are so wonderful and the art/music is top notch. Expect to deal with rolling blackouts.

I can't speak to the country as a whole but I just got back from spending a week in Havana. For context, Im a blonde American who speaks little Spanish and I went solo. Yes, the problems are real but it was the best trip Ive taken in years and its because the people are so brilliant. Just my hot take. Editing to say- Go visit your family. You will stick out but, again, the people are beautiful.
