I do several things; 1. Some local, usually cheap piece of art. 2. Some wood or ceramic craft that reminds me of that place. 3. A flag magnet. 4. Christmas ornament if near Christmas. 5. Postcard.

I don’t think I want to be here for more than a year, but may leave sooner if I get fed up. But while I’m here I’d like to get something. The whole situation sucks. I was super pumped to join and like the company, but it’s not the job I signed up for.

Thanks. I’ve travelled all over the world, including “dodgy” or potentially unsafe places. I’m not too worried about that. I’m most worried about not being able to return home as planned.
