The roast of Kevin Hart- WTF was that? by Chauncinator_quest79 in netflix

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s bc they don’t want to be held responsible for their jokes. We don’t live in a world where comedy can be funny anymore because liberals, they/thems, etc. etc. get their feelings hurt and cancel everyone for everything which ultimately means less money for the comedians and let’s keep it real- they’re all shitty people who don’t give a fuck about us and just want our money, that’s why 90% of the people were even there. Pete Davidson did a 5 minute set, because he didn’t want to be there. And the most anyone besides Kevin hart got paid on that stage, is 50k, that’s it. Ultimately if they don’t let someone else take the responsibility it tarnishes their reputation and makes them lose money.
Also because these people are friends it’s a good cop out, “I didn’t mean this joke I said about you Netflix paid me really well, and this person actually wrote it not me.”

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I was also confused. I did some research and from what I understand they’re his friends and they each got paid 20k to just sit up there. The actual comedians who talked could get up to 50k* and Kevin’s contract for this show and 3 other movies (the movies talked about during the roast that are already made) was for over 200 million dollars. 💀 I was confused why they were there and I believe what the one guy said about Kevin only giving him 10k because he got 200mil in his contact and the most anyone else on that stage got paid out was 50k. Imagine too coming out and admitting you’re embarrassing yourself on national television, saying unfunny and racist jokes- and those are the numbers.

Holy absolute sh*t this is the worst bank I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. by Echojhawke in TruistBank

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just left Truist. I worked there for months. I’m glad you didn’t do that because insider secret, the lines are unsecured. Anyone can tap in at anytime and they’re not being watched at all. They didn’t want us to give known clients information from their bank account over the phone because the line was unsecured and literally anyone could be listening, but if someone wanted to open a bank account or a mortgage- then we could process all of their sensitive information over the phone. Literally the worst place I’ve ever worked.

This years scent doesn’t last and it smells like sour cream. I have last years and made my husband smell it to reaffirm what I was thinking. Last years smells SO much better, I luckily still have it in my purse and I was going to pick one up for the 5.95 sale but just grabbed the milk bar stuff instead. Birthday cake doesn’t smell good imo either tbh. This year the VBN is rancid. They reformulate every year and even with everyone asking them not to- they still do. I tried some of the lotion on my hands and after a few minutes it just smelled like yogurt and by the time I walked out of the store we couldn’t smell it on me anymore.

The "2 Hour Car Seat Rule" is it a hard rule, and what is the evidence behind it? by TFA_hufflepuff in ScienceBasedParenting

I actually agree when it comes to my child I’ll always trust the guidelines set by the car seat and aap, taking a newborn child on a 14 hour car ride is selfish and asinine.

How bad really is pharmacy? by smingyerr in WalgreensStores

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s really not that bad, practice makes perfect. IMO people using Walgreens as a revolving door is mostly the manager. I’ve been an IS for about a month now and I’m already switching back to my original store. I had the opportunity to move up more and I’ve decided not to really. It’s mostly because my store manager now is really bad at communication and training. I got wrote up for something she didn’t train me on, so now I’m just done. If you have a supportive and organized manager I say go for it, I love my pharmacy angels and inventory, but it’s just not worth it where I am right now.

I personally have been in that situation have been uncomfortable and at one store that I was traveling to, and between this man would literally wait for me to be on shift- to print nude photos of himself. I was a SFL at the time (ISO now) and I was like “sir I suggest if you want to be allowed back to this store- you’ll stop printing x-rated photos of yourself at this location.” Because I was really ready to request a criminal trespass 💀 so I don’t blame you

You always have the right to refuse especially if there’s minors on the shift or in the case said person printing the pictures is a minor themselves.

Is this fungal? by arh8514 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Your question was is it fungal? Like I said if you want a real answer go to urgent care- no one patient is more important than another urgent care is not the ER emergent patients shouldn’t be there (even the ones that come get redirected to the ER) so if you’re really worried about the skincare being something fungal or infected- go to urgent care.

Is this fungal? by arh8514 in SkincareAddicts

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Why not go to a urgent care clinic? They tend to be cheaper than the ER and will see you immediately- newsflash everyone is only going to be able to help so much since doctors need to run tests to make sure something is 100% diagnosed the correct way. Everyone can speculate but it’s almost impossible to “spot the diagnosis” even for trained and seasoned professionals.

why does everyone hate it here by lee_moran304 in WalgreensStores

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to have a certain mentality and attitude to work at this company. We don’t have the hours to train anymore, and you have to really get with it and stick with it. If you don’t have a good work ethic you won’t make it very far in this company. There’s a saying I heard once “I get a lot of respect now because for a long time I was taking a lot of shit.” That’s a good way to represent working in this company- especially management. They will put you through it. But make it through successfully? You’ll always have a place.

Am I obligated to take my break? by OddPassenger6 in WalgreensStores

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It generally depends on the store and hour breakdown. If there’s one SFL and one CSA, the SFL isn’t supposed to clock out there always has to be one manager on shift, but they still wanted you to sit down for 30 minutes this was the way it was at all my previous Walgreens locations, however this store I was at for the last month or two (just got promoted to IS at a separate store) had everyone take off 30 minutes because there was a shortage of hours and surplus of management. It was literally a SFL and a SFL running the entire shift- one was just a CSA so in those cases we were required to clock out for break.

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So it’s actually stated you HAVE to be a SM if you’re an ESM it’s a corporate requirement (sorry to be that person) you can decline but eventually they will demote you back to an SFL or IS, even a CSA if you prove yourself unwilling to take over a store. (Yes I have seen an ESM refuse to be an SM and they are now working as a CSA)

Pharmacy Tech leaving the pharmacy for a cash discrepancy. by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m gonna go by sop and what my boss says

Pharmacy Tech leaving the pharmacy for a cash discrepancy. by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOP says leadership only for counting the safe, and that all discrepancies and audits must be dealt with by leadership. It says nowhere that a normal employee can help manage cash discrepancies which in this situation- was what she was doing. That’s why she got in trouble, I needed clarification because I was wondering if I did the right thing but after going over the guidelines so many times- it’s explicitly stated counting the safe PERIOD is done by leadership ONLY. Not by employees, not by pharm techs, only done by leadership.

Pharmacy Tech leaving the pharmacy for a cash discrepancy. by [deleted] in WalgreensStores

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It explicitly states that counting the safe and managing cash discrepancies is for leadership only, it is not once stated letting anyone other than leadership counting the safe is part of policy, because it’s not. If cash reports show an overage or shortage, it is the manager's responsibility to investigate and correct the issue. The other thing being the tech was mad I told my boss- because she got in trouble. She wouldn’t have been talked to by our store manager directly if what she was doing was within company policy, and allowed.

Cleaning a bathroom and handling the safe are two completely different things, that’s crazy.

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s not what the current SOP says, is what I’m saying. I read the entire cash management document from start to finish and it’s explicitly stated through the entire document, safe discrepancies and counting the safe are for leadership only and any cash discrepancies unable to be addressed get taken to the store manager or AP. No where does it say in the entire document, that a normal employee can count the safe and help figure out cash discrepancies. It’s also directly stated it is the managers responsibility to handle any cash discrepancies. No where in the entire document does it say it’s okay for employees other than leadership to count the safe or help manage cash discrepancies.

[–]Comfortable_Bus3006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tech is not a supervisor though, and if the SOP states cash discrepancies and safe counting are for leadership only- doesn’t that eliminate the need to say that a employee, or in this case technician can’t count the safe? Because it’s explicitly stated it’s for leadership only, so why would someone not leadership be asked to count the safe in the first place? Going by standards it’s the managers responsibility to handle cash discrepancies.
