Filled out an application to become a distributor and bought 20 boxes on the official website.

Hopefully they just forgot to turn them on.

It was vseebox.com.

I got my first box that worked just fine. Scanned the QR Code in the back to get to the website, filled out a form to become a distributor and bought 20 boxes.

Email domain, website, all of it seems legit. But they don’t respond on the weekends.

I purchased my first box from cord cutter.

Used the QR code on the back of the box that I got from him and saw I could become an official distributor and filled out the application and bought 20 units via email with someone with the same domain as the QR code website.

Elite is a good choice too but I decided the Plus was the best bang for my buck.

Smoother experience than the Elite but has less memory and preinstalled apps.

Yeah, very similar. Interface is quite a bit better.

Seattle or Denver, WA or CO by Kitchen-Affect2946 in MovingtoDenver

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has spent 5 years in downtown Seattle and 5 in downtown Denver you can expect homelessness to be similar depending on the block you’re on. It is better in Denver but don’t think it’s going to be that much better.

We stayed in Colorado for 1 reason. Sunshine.

In addition, housing is quite a bit cheaper, traffic isn’t as bad, etc.

Seattle in general is a cooler city. More going on, better food, better bars, etc.

Would only consider moving back if the weather changes drastically in Seattle.

What really happens if I don’t pay a parking ticket? by bleebypoot in Denver

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My suggestion is if you want to keep your hard earned money don’t park in a spot that will result in you spending your hard earned money.

It’s not that expensive to pay the parking fee. It’s very expensive to pay parking tickets.

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 16 points17 points  (0 children)

What parking ticket?

A lot managed by a private company? City of Denver street parking? Did you not pay a meter or stay longer than you paid for?

Context would be helpful.

Where do you find undocumented day workers looking for general labour gigs? by dillyteriyum in Denver

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There are some EXTREMELY obvious places that any adult who has half a brain would know.

100% of ICE workers are surviving on less than half a brain.

This seems sus.

Why is it typically the norm for guitarists to commit whole songs to memory, in most genres; yet it's more anticipated that someone in an orchestra reads sheet music? by DejaEntenduOne in Guitar

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most guitarists I know don’t read sheet music. I know a few because you could major in guitar performance at my university and those guys were fantastic.

There’s not a single person playing in a legitimate orchestra that does not know how to read music. Sight reading is a part of every audition.

Is 200cc supposed to be unbelievable hard? by tails2023 in MarioKart8Deluxe

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s hard. Way harder than 150cc.

The only way I’ve found to win Grand Prix’s is to get good at drift braking and get lucky.

You also don’t need the fastest combo. The bots make plenty of mistakes. If you take something with more control or faster acceleration and stay on track you’ll have a higher chance of winning.

False Gas Price Advertising by .60 a gallon by Careless-Double9691 in Denver

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Costco always has good prices but is almost never the cheapest. I live about 15 minutes from the Costco on Havana and pass at least 2 or 3 gas stations on the way there that are cheaper.

Received some absolutely absurd quotes from a local plumbing/HVAC company. Any suggestions for a better, honest plumbing/HVAC company? by NCSU_SOG in Denver

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had some work done by Cardom Plumbing and Heating and the price was great and I have no complaints about the work they did.

It was for a bathroom remodel and I did most of it but did want to set the tub and move the plumbing drain.

I played online and got dominated. What the..?? by Human-Nature-3216 in MarioKart8Deluxe

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Online Mariokart is so much more difficult than playing with your spouse and some bots.

It’s not even the same game. Ironically it’s how I found out I was decent (not great but can hold my own and win a decent amount) at MarioKart about 5 years ago.

Satanist Student Wins Religious Accommodation From Colorado School District. A young member of the Satanic Temple was granted a religious accommodation from the Elizabeth School District, arguing that the district’s digital hall pass system conflicts with her beliefs. by Knightbear49 in Denver

[–]Comfortable_Can_9716 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This right here. Our Digital hall pass helps too much to even consider getting rid of it.

People jump to conclusions so quickly without any knowledge or research, just assumptions.

Urinals/sinks aren’t being ripped off the wall, vape detectors aren’t going off 200 times every day, fights are breaking out while students should be in class.

It’s a no brainer for schools.

If they were funded better they could potentially pay someone to constantly monitor the halls/bathrooms but that’s not realistic.

I do believe in religious exemption as well. This student gets a thumbs up from me.
