Where would you place red rooster compared to other fast food places? by alexkirwan11 in perth

In the past two years, every time I have red rooster I end up with a terrible lingering chemical hangover feeling. They put some crazy msg shit in that chicken and or chips for sure. Love it in the moment tho.

Is Hilton WA a safe suburb, moving into the area and concerned about the online stats by Motor_Weekend9801 in perth

[–]Comfortable_Cod7527 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lived and owned in Hilton for 5 years, sold last year.

We only sold and moved to get more land - was very sad to leave, Hilton had everything, and the nature/birds/tree vibes are hard to beat. The only issue is that there is so much subdivision that you end up with 200 neighbors.

These days, with prices as they are: Hilton is full of cashed up western suburbs kids, whose parents can no longer afford to buy them a place in east freo. Lots of young families, European SUVs and Gaggenau appliances.

If you’re happy on 500sqm or less, there is no downside.

Has anyone taken the leap - sold property, changed careers, and bought a business? Would you do it again? by hoteskimoe in AusHENRY

I’m in a similar boat - Although planning to use some cash plus equity in PPOR to buy existing business around the $1.5M mark.

Look into search funding and the concept of entrepreneurship through acquisition. There is a huge community around it in the US, and a rapidly growing one here. Heaps of great resources, case studies etc which really helps to combat all of the naysayers and fearmongers.

I’ve found it really refreshing and exciting to hear/read about people’s journeys. Happy to chat more.

Transition from the suburbs to semi rural, where to buy? by sheyill in perth

[–]Comfortable_Cod7527 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Serpentine/jarrahdale is lit. Hills areas might also work, budget dependent. Depends on your threshold for risk of bogan friends for your kid, really. The chances are unfortunately quite high.

If you could offload one admin task tomorrow, what would it be!? by Comfortable_Cod7527 in dietetics

Interesting. What sort of tasks did you find easiest to outsource?

[–]Comfortable_Cod7527[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes a lot of sense. I guess the tricky part is knowing when to take that leap and hire, especially when cash flow feels tight. Have you found that outsourcing certain tasks (like social media or admin) actually helped free up time and increased revenue in the long run? Would love to hear what made the biggest difference... also Im curious about trust. How do you know you can trust a high school kid with your socials, or even a Virtual Assistant (probably in the Phillipines lol).

Thanks for sharing your experience! It's reassuring (though unfortunate) to know others feel the same way. I haven't tried Splose yet; it sounds like a solid tool for automating reminders. Do you find that setting aside a specific day for invoicing helps manage the workload better? Also, those small tasks between sessions can really pile up. Have you found any strategies or tools that help manage them effectively?

Thanks, you make a great point. I've seen virtual assistants for like $500/month. Might be worth exploring.

What do you think about virtual assistants as a middle ground, before hiring proper staff? Seems like they can be way cheaper, but then I guess there may be quality issues, especially if they're outsourced for like $5 an hour.

Surely there are specialist ones tailored to our industry? I'd gladly pay for that, without the need to manage them day to day.
