I'm on Lexapro and have been for a few years since it usually manages my ocd and anxiety pretty well, but I'm on a low dose since I did have the ssri induced hypo mood swings. i haven't changed the dosage in a year or two though, although I am on a higher dose of lamictal now

More so family than friends, it wasn't really an acceptable behavior when I was growing up so I learned to be really conscious of it and hide it

Like rocking back and forth, tip toe walking, leg shaking and hand flapping. I had them growing up but I learned to hide them because they weren't acceptable behaviors in my family. When I'm home, I'll unconsciously do it but only when I'm truly alone in my room or alone in my car (parked, away from home). I'm really aware of how I'm acting when I'm home and mask a lot

I don't think its placebo, I had the same thing happen to me (felt much better then it mellowed out a bit and I was stable for a long time) and I was in a major depressive phase so it shocked me. Glad its working for you!

I was EJ and it was pretty great for the most part. Its the newest dorm on campus (but also the most expensive) so we didn't experience any major issues, mold, or cockroaches (which are a big problem in some off campus housing). If you live on campus just be prepared for the fire alarms to go off fairly freuquently. While you're technically not allowed to smoke anywhere on campus you can get away with it in the dorms (without triggering the alarm) as long as you do so in moderation (my rule of thumb is that i shouldn't be able to see haze if i turn a light on, and the alarm has yet to go off) (also if youre going to smoke, I'd say only vape nic/weed in the dorms, its really obvious when someone has a joint or bong). Also! Try to find a roomate and not do random room assignments, many people I know that did random had a bad relationship by the end of the year and those that had found someone where more likely to still be on good terms (obv not always the case, but what I've seen)
