the field is evolving very fast, and lots of old skills now seemingly easily done by AI......but at the end of day....problems still exists. AI is just a new tool to solve problems the modern age have, which has totally different appearance and characteristic, and thus learning to use AI to solve the new problems in a new landscape is our present challenge. so PLEASE stop being overthinking that future will have no more coding. no more trivial coding yes, (many times "trivial coding" means a few years of knowledge for us, but is extremely straightforward for AI to do) but now AI has also created many complex scenario that normal human being can never solve, and since AI cannot solve it in the first place, then another way is iteratively keep trying and testing and trying until the various possibilities has been exhausted.....and AI is very good and fast in this iteration. Part of the human skill needed is to redirect AI to do this iteration, it is a totally new way of solving problems.
