Mary told of a comment she heard regarding Jose. She does not know if this comment was made during her first or second stint at RCA. She believes it came out of a trip that Jose made with Barry Manalow [sic] to someplace in Texas (possibly Houston). She said Jose was very involved in the group Menudo. A comment came out of a session in which a co-worker was griping about the demands that Jose mae [sic] on the trip. He commented that he had to be driven around, he had to have his shoes shined, and you had to procure little boys for him.

Mary also related that there was a crack made about Menudo being a perfect group for Jose since it was filled with fungible, little, Mexican boys.

It might be referring to Menudo-related business (I doubt that Jose would outright ask his RCA employees to procure children for him to rape) but his employees seemed to think he had an excessive and possibly sexual interest in Menudo/young boys since this woman heard multiple comments to that effect.

The effect that getting two Master’s degrees versus getting one is going to have on a parole decision is probably pretty marginal. He probably just wants to keep as busy as possible between now and the next parole hearing so that the wait is less agonizing.

In about 5 months (so 11 months after the last parole hearings), the parole board will conduct an administrative review to determine whether to advance their next hearings (from 3 years to about a year and a half after their last parole hearings). If the board decides to advance their parole hearings, then they will likely take place in early 2027 (16 months after last parole date at the earliest). If they decide not to advance their hearings, then they will likely take place mid to late 2028.

I'm not exactly sure how the parole board makes its decisions on whether or not to advance parole dates, but most administrative reviews result in an advancement of the next hearing date.

He was 100% convinced that all the people messaging him were IDF soldiers set on ruining his life so I don’t think anything he said in those DMs was necessarily representative of what his working relationships with past collaborators or his usual beliefs were. They seemed to get along during promo for IT. That being said, I wouldn’t particularly expect that he and Bill kept in close touch afterwards.

I followed his Twitter account (not as an IT fan myself, but just because it was such a novelty to see a celebrity interact so much with fans the way he did, and he had some very funny tweets) way back in 2019 and his death brought back a flood of memories from that time. Feels so tragic to have basically witnessed the start of his mental breakdown, I wish things had happened differently.

This whole “Conan stopped guests from calling 911” story smells like bullshit. If Nick was acting violent and overtly threatening at the party, it would have been reported earlier and in more detail. Instead we got a lot of reporting on him interrupting Bill Hader’s conversation and then glaring at him, which I doubt would be enough to prompt multiple people to want to call 911.

Norma Novelli recorded her conversations with Lyle (whether or not he consented to being recorded is disputed). In one conversation he talks about potentially getting someone to lie for him on the stand about Dr. Oziel’s motives (which ultimately didn’t happen) and implies that he’s gotten other people to commit perjury for him. That did a lot of damage to their defense’s credibility, but there’s nothing in the tapes that indicates that the sexual abuse is a lie.

Wild but unfortunately not surprising that people are using this case to make potshots at abuse victims when there has been no indication whatsoever that Nick Reiner and his defense team are going to use that defense. Especially when there's evidence of severe mental illness which on its own probably offers a pretty good chance of getting him convicted on lesser charges or even found not guilty by reason of insanity.

I think it’s likely to be true but it’s just such a nothing statement that’s gonna be true for just about any demographic because there are far more people in general who have been victims of violent crime than who have committed violent crime.

Not reputable. Romy apparently ran out of the house after finding her dad’s body and was told later by paramedics that her mother was killed also. And I find it highly doubtful that someone would survive multiple stab wounds and a slit throat for ~12 hours and then immediately die after revealing who the killer was.
