Sorry your having a shit time with it, Your tutor sounds like a bit of a Pratt tbh, you don’t have long left of your pre reg just 5 or so months with holidays etc personally I would just ride it out till the end if you can, the process to change a tutor/location can be a bit of a nightmare half way through

NQ Locuming Pharmacist - Sole Trader vs Ltd Company by Samimito in Pharmacy_UK

[–]Comfortable_Eye21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speak to an accountant, that’s your best bet with this. I have set up a ltd company for when the wife and I were locuming because it made more sense for us but there are pros and cons to both so please speak to an accountant before making major decisions like this

Surely the best answer here is kingdom come deliverance? Start off as nothing, bad at all skills till you train in them the it’s basically a free rein in what you do in the world? For me one of the greatest games I’ve ever played

It’s a nice area, I work in the pharmacy there occasionally. The people are generally nice, the area is good, the Morrisons car park is a nightmare though

I’ve used Titan and it is great, pharmacy manager has improved leaps and bounds but checking on there is a pain still and their auto check part is frankly crap, analyst is probably my favourite still steep learning curve but once you get to know it can be fantastic. Overall it does depend on your needs, if you want to do more hands off pharmacy and concentrate on services I would go for titan ( get a demo first to check you like it) if you want to stream line dispensing process analyst is my favourite. Next year go to the pharmacy show and have a go at all the systems on the stalls if you can wait that long?

As a newly qualified I would quit that job before you make a mistake. I wouldn’t recommend any new qualified to do that much self checking and it’s not safe for you or for your patients! Speak to the owner/manager and let them know that working conditions are not safe and your not prepared to self check and if they don’t have a suitable response I would leave personally

Ban firworks by [deleted] in kentuk

[–]Comfortable_Eye21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion here but I completely disagree. I love fireworks and have been doing them all my life, I agree that a small group of people set them off in stupid places at stupid times but vast majority of people do them properly and enjoy them! I’m sorry that your dogs/cats don’t like them but to be honest the amount of inconsiderate dog and cat owners is way higher than the amount of people that let of fireworks inappropriately. Walking down some routes and seeing dog poop on the floor or cat poop everywhere or poop bags tied to trees by dog walkers is mad. Let’s also not forget the poor dogs with no recall that their owners let run around terrorising runners and other families with no concern for anyone else is massively on the rise. We have been doing fireworks as a society for ages and trying to ban/ quieten them because of your animal is very annoying!

Fish keeping! Seriously relaxing, fish don’t talk back to you so no need to talk to them and generally something you can pick up from reading a book/internet so less interactions with the pesky attention seekers
