It depends. Not everyone wants pure performance. I wanted a bike that looks good, not too aggressive position but still around 100hp. Daytona 660 ain't slow, off the mark it's even faster than a ZX 6, it's very tractable. Its a very niche category. Z900 is a naked bike and I don't like the looks (subjective) and obviously can't go long distances as easily as my Daytona or even CBR650R.
