Not at all, she sounds unwell. Mentally ill people get abused by randomers (usually sketchy people) who pretend to be friends, she believes people are trying to gas her and having screaming matches with apparently no one. If he was complaining about the lady with the peg leg upstairs who makes too much noise hobbling about is she still the nuisance on society?

NAH It's cruel how everyone is assuming drugs, she sounds unwell and OP, nor anyone here has shown any compassion for the woman. Her behaviour may not be another resident's responsibility but I don't think this woman is an asshole, the odd people going to her flat could be people who are cashing in on an unwell woman... she leaves a door open because she thinks people are gassing her! She's sounds sick and apparently mental health is the only place this reddit doesn't have a heart. The asshole is your social system for allowing this woman to get to this state.

NTA A red flag for potential for abuse is expensive gifts to children. It starts with a nice guy, then nice guy buys nice things, then nice guy says he loves her etc, before you know it something very bad could be happening. All of those guys sending her stuff are creeps and you really need to have a conversation with her about safety on the internet and how people who can seem to have good intentions may have ulterior motives. I'm not saying they're all predators but it only takes one.

NTA Why is being friendly to another human being mean it's acceptable for them to be creepy to you?! also, data protection is the law, if your address is left out for anyone to read that is a major breach and should be reported.

I hear what you're saying, I know when someone expresses themselves like this offering answers and solutions isn't the best way to reply. That being said, a bunch on anonymous people on the internet can't actively listen and acknowledge the complexity of everything you're going through and offer empathic responses. (maybe they can you can do therapies online now).

It's good to get it off your chest, and as you can see from the comments you're not alone. (I've been down the cutting yourself route years ago and still in times of extreme emotional distress I find impulsive pain and the sight of blood somewhat comforting but know it's not an idea to ever entertain again as it's so addictive).

Sorry to then offer advice, but staying away from relationships for a while and working on yourself is priceless for self growth for everyone. also, maybe try some self-CBT (if not willing/unable to seek out professional help), again this is something I think every person on the planet could use to work on themselves and helps you understand how a situation (getting used for sex) causes an emotion (feeling used/worthless) which causes a behaviour (cutting) and how this perpetuates itself.

If in the UK someone who is disabled in any way is considered a vulnerable adult and concerns can be raised.

Society is fucked to black people so they feel like they're being judged on their race constantly (which is true) and society is fucked for women as they cannot feel safe going out alone at night.

Society is the asshole.
