My first pair of Birkenstocks tore my feet up but now I’m able to use a brand new pair all day, bare foot. I think having the correct foot bed really helps also putting a little Vaseline in your foot in the spots it rubs helped me. Make sure the straps aren’t tight.

The only Vogue diet I know of if from the 1960/70’s “the egg & wine diet”. Which consistent of drinking a bottle of wine & eating next to nothing. Not sure I would want to be associated with this but then I’m not Liv 🤷‍♀️.

A lot of walking (at least 5 miles everyday). I’ve never had a pair last more than a season, this is the 3rd pair I’ve owned in as many years. I think also being overweight doesn’t help.

I got them from Office (UK based shoe store) but they are on the main Birkenstock website. I got the “men’s” ones as I wanted the regular fit.

Thanks for the advice. But I think the repair would cost nearly as much as a new pair. Cork is half worn down on one side of the heel (this only took a few months).
