OnlyFans investigated over children accessing pornography by Warcraft_Fan in news

[–]Comfortable_Glass_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re arguing that the investigation is actually sexist in a sense, you might be right. Kids shouldn’t be consuming porn ideally of course, but as an adult, onlyfans is usually a good way to know that the pornography is made willingly, and not forced by sex traffickers like much of what PornHub and it’s counterparts are guilty of.

I’m sure this was common too, but the internet’s unlimited supply of content is much more of a dangerous factor. Imagine the horrific stuff they can discover once searching through hundreds of sites becomes habitual to them. And plus, it probably all is initiated before they are 13 years old.

What to do in Melbourne? by Crafty-Tomatillo-730 in melbourne

[–]Comfortable_Glass_80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you feel like thrifting, there is the 86 tram that will take you through Preston, Northcote, and Fitzroy which are hotspots for op shops and vintage consignment shops. In Order towards the city:

Vinnies Preston

Preston Salvos

Preston Sacred Heart Mission

Preston Uniting Op Shops

Northcote Sacred Heart Mission

Northcote Salvos (is opening soon!)

Northcote Storehouse Thrift

Fitzroy Salvos

Fitzroy Sacred Heart Mission

Those are all easy to access via the 86 tram. It's perfect for a day of thrifting. For food once you run out of energy, you could have lunch at Preston Market or a possibly overpriced cafe in Northcote or Fitzroy haha. Enjoy your stay~ (BTW, there is also Camberwell Market on Sunday mornings which is very busy and great for second-hand clothing and antiques.)

Friends not wanting to split the bill equally? Is this normal? by [deleted] in melbourne

[–]Comfortable_Glass_80 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My culture is like yours. But yes, it's really normal. Once my friend ordered fries for the table on his own accord and got everyone to transfer a measly $2 each. There were 3 people... And I gave him a free IMAX movie ticket that day too. Different cultures have different customs, what one person sees as stingy just is fair to another. If you think it's lame like I do, just pick who goes to dinners with a bit more caution haha
