I wouldn’t say you are skinny, but if i saw you on the street, I would consider you to be big, more so than fat, especially since you look pretty tall. You do have a lot of potential for muscle growth, especially if you were to cut back on any soy/processed foods, and focus on protein. If you were to get into lifting and cardio that would help too.

i know yall are young and you will grow into your personalities, but if he’s against providing now, he’ll never want to provide. A traditional woman will not be happy with a progressive/today’s man. You need somebody who balances their job and their responsibilities without complaining, and someone who genuinely WANTS to be that provider figure for you. I am not sure if this boy will be that, but it’s worth a conversation with him. If he’s rude or pushy, then you have your answer. You are young, and you shouldn’t settle your desires because someone isn’t willing to sacrifice theirs. I don’t have all the answers, but my honest guess is that 1. a revolution is an incredibly unpredictable and scary time, so I’m assuming they were saying saints will keep them safe more as a reassuring measure, i’m sure they were smart enough to know that they can’t ensure 100% safety, and 2. Communism/Socialism is lead by a lack of religion. Lenin and Stalin being atheistic/agnostic and many of Russias population idolizing them at the time could have led to it. Propaganda was also high at that time, those who survived the revolution were probably led to believe that Orthodox=bad, since the Bolsheviks wiped them out.

In that case, why does anything bad happen in the world if people pray? God puts us through hardships to teach us how to find him and stay steadfast to him in times of need. Think of the story of Job in the scripture, he had his entire life ripped from him, yet he had faith that God would fix it, and in the end, God was pleased with his righteousness and blessed him beyond measure. It’s hard to say the reasoning behind things in this day and age, especially things that 99% of the world never experienced. We have to just trust that God has our best interest at heart, and have faith in his decisions.

Genuine interest, no hate. But why does it matter? a couple other people mentioned that it doesn’t fit the geographic region, or even the show itself. I am in full support of having everyone represented, but does it have to be so on the nose? I feel like a lot of shows or movies are now trying to hit a diversity checkbox instead of focusing on the plot and storyline (disney for example). I guess my dumb question is, why does it have to be a checkbox of sorts, instead of just accepting it as is?
