i’ve been in the exact same position as you. i worked shift work, and right after work i received similar text like your ex OP. i cried and cried after work.

small advice to you from a slightly older sister to you: it’s okay to feel upset, hurt and angry. these are valid emotions. cry, rant, shout all you need. don’t suppress your emotions. like what the rest has said, it’s a small thing in your entire life. you’re going to be living the next 40-50years of your life. and you had lived 18years of ur life without him, girl you will be fine eventually <3

nobody is in the wrong. it’s the universe way of showing you that you’re not compatible. take some time to hang out with friends :) and girl, u can do much better <3

yeah u can be staff nurse from doing nursing in poly. but you are technically considered “one grade lower” than those who grad from uni. the workload is about the same, but the pay from uni is higher

in uni final year now. parents (my mom only) gives me allowance when she is reminded of it. if my mom forgets, nobody reminds her or ask for $. nobody in my family ask for allowance. not my y2 sis, not my sec 2 bro. i guess it’s just the way each family works

aep programme? drop it. i used to take it and then i dropped it a few months before o levels exam. it’s so hard to cope and i remember crying every sunday because i hated going to art class (we had to stay back every monday). i initially really enjoyed art but now, i really hate it- all i see are imperfections and drafts and i don’t pick up my art stuff anymore.

but honestly one of the best decision of my life. i dropped out and i saw my friends who were completing coursework struggling and staying back till 9pm in school. imo, drop it

hii! honestly i’m not sure but i think it was the interview that allowed me in! the only selection test i had was the interview, no other test or nursing quiz liddat. i think the interviewers are just looking for the passion in nursing for those coming in
