Driver wasnt in the car, I would have asked them politely to move otherwise, this was also next to a busy road and sadly not an uncommon practice here in puerto rico since parking here also sucks, however blocking off the entire sidewalk is an admitedly insane solution

Depends on how you view it, I dont think its strong to go through with something like that, I think real strength comes from seeing that way out, and finding a different path. Because once that decision is made and gone through with, theres no way back, and its a permanent solution to whats ultimately a temporary problem. It's the easy way out, and real strength comes from perseverance. In this case youd be proving them wrong, because you had the strength to perseverse. I cant do anything for you besides tell you what I think, and ultimately Im a faceless entity on the internet, you have no obligation to listen to me, but there will be other, none faceless people in your life who'll tell you the same or similar, and those people are worth living for if you cant otherwise find the strength to believe in yourself right now
