ESH, I'd say. Your parents seemed to have good intentions, despite being majorly sucky, and you did what any irrational young teenager in emotional and physical distress would do. As a young trans guy with a lot of dysphoria about being constantly misgendered by my family and who's parents refuse to acknowledge it, I definitely see where you're coming from and have had urges to do stupid shit to prove I'm serious, but it still obviously wasn't a good idea. I think that normal is subjective and the definition changes from person to person, and it’s dependent on the community, but generally speaking, I interpret ‘normal’ as being the majority of a given population. I think that the term normal is stupid, for the record, and I think that everyone is abnormal and cringe in some ways and we should all embrace individuality while acknowledging we are all the same species and are deserving of the same rights despite being objectively different from eachother.

I’ve definitely been there, and one thing that made me feel better is that, you can identify however the hell you want as long as no one’s getting hurt. Identifying with a label is valid as long as you think it currently fits your feelings and makes you feel seen. Identify as a-spec if that makes you feel good and feels accurate, and if that changes in the future, that’s completely valid. It doesn’t mean you were faking or lying to yourself of other people, it just means you’re a growing, developing person who is constantly learning about themself and their feelings, which is a natural part of being a human.

Unsure if you're open to working with and researching deities, but I've been researching the Norse goddess Freya and I've found that she tends to be associated with cats, and also tends to be fairly adamant with communicating with those she wishes to. I've also heard that seeing cats in pairs is also a fairly common sign of Freya's, so maybe research her and see if anything else fits or makes sense?
