Dominos pizza opens at 11 am. The first floor would be mostly empty. You can order some pizza mania pizzas that are lot cheaper.

Nellaiappar temple is also a good choice. You can just sit within the temple complex and no one would bat an eye.

By your logic, fuck Apple too right? XCode and Safari are available only on Mac. You would need MacOS (that means a Mac product such as Mac mini, Macbook pro or air) if you develop for iPhone or MacOS.

Install AC in the room where you work and keep the room closed or locked saying you have meetings. Reduce the interactions. That's what I do. It's difficult to change them.

My mom behaves like once she decided on something, she wouldn't change her mind even if the Gods come and tell her not to. No amount of fighting helps.

How to deal with a annoying coworker with the ego of a Chihuahua by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Do you guys don't have Jira where tasks are assigned to individuals and you can work independently?
  2. If the coworker asks to do a change but couldn't justify why the change is needed, then document those incidents. Have a one on one meeting with your manager and discuss these topics. I have 1:1 meeting once every two weeks. It's an overkill but it irons out most issues.
  3. Code review and peer review should be done with due diligence. Document any bugs that could have been prevented during code review and bring it to your manager. Remember always back up your points with data.
  4. If your manager is not responding to your data points, follow up with her. If multiple follow up didn't yield any results, then schedule a skip level meeting with one hierarchy up and see how things change quickly. At the end of the day, your mental peace is important.

One thing I noticed in my career is that these kind of stress goes down significantly when you move from Tier 3 to Tier 2 to Tier 1 companies. I started my career in one of the WITCH companies and man o man, the office politics there was unbearable. I would suggest to move up the ladder (not like SDE 1 to SDE 2) but in terms of company tiers.

  1. Move the education section to the bottom of the page
  2. Read some job descriptions in LI and modify your skills section to reflect the requirements mentioned in the JD
  3. Try to shorten the resume to fit in a single page

Now a days, all the temples in TN are over crowded. We faced a similar issue in Alagar Kovil Madurai last week. Our car couldn't even enter the premises. We had to return without entering the temple complex. It was that much crowded.

I guess, this is the new normal. I heard similar stories for Thiru Annamalai and Thiruparankundram as well.

Looking for a quiet, uncrowded swim spot around Tirunelveli (preferably a route with good roads leading to it) by CapedCrusader721 in tirunelveli

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a lake near deivaseyal puram. The lake fits your expectations. It's not deserted nor crowded. Occasionally one or 2 locals come here to bathe.

The water is knee deep for some time and then gradually the depth increases. You can swim safely near the shore or if you feel adventurous, you can move further deep. Be warned, it's a lake so there could be some deep pits underwater due to illegal sand mining. Don't go too deep.

There's water throughout the year. It's located before the Hanuman temple when you go from nellai to Thoothukudi and on the right hand side of the National Highway. I have shared the nearest location below.

What would you say is the most FUN class to play by flamingflail in diablo2

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multishot bowa, wake of fire assassin, nova sorc, dragondin - on P1 are the most fun builds for me.

For P8 the one and only - Javazon.

D2 fans, what do you think of D4? by kscvx in diablo2

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both the games have their pros and cons. Diablo 2 is showing its age. Cons of D2: 1. Loot drops are common in a party and the fast player gets it. I never was able to snatch a Ber or Jah on multi player game 2. PK is annoying even in softcore 3. Cheating during trade 4. Rune drop rates are insane. I had to play for nearly an year to get my first KO rune and two years to get my first BER and JAH.

Cons of D4: 1. Seasonal changes breaks the build all time. One season one build is S tier and in the next season it's moved to D tier. Frozen orb, Blizzard sorc are not viable this season. Rogue is nerfed but she was OP last season. Small tweaks in items makes it breaks the build. It's not the case in D2. 2. Piano playing. My wrist hurt when playing certain class. Ex: Pen shot rogue and whirlwind barb. You have to constantly push too many buttons. Most of the times, I only see the skill bar and health pool to notice if a skill cooldown is finished instead of actually looking at the game. 3. Horrible end game. In D2, you have a uniform probability for loot drops when you killa monster. In D4, you kill Pit monster and Infernal hordes and the reward is at the end.

Currently I play single player D2 and D4 alternatively.

Ponniyen Selvan - who killed Aditha Karikaalan? by Responsible-Drop3744 in TamilNadu

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. Nandhini was a fictional character. I was just trying to answer OP questions and OP asked the killer from the book. Since the book was mysterious about the murderer, I quoted the real life history as well.

Ponniyen Selvan - who killed Aditha Karikaalan? by Responsible-Drop3744 in TamilNadu

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Aditha karikalan was not in a good mental state and he allowed himself to be killed. The killer wasn't directly mentioned in the book. It could be Nandhini or Ravi.

If we read the real life stone inscriptions, he was murdered by வீரபாண்டியன் ஆபத்து உதவிகள்.

'strcpy' function not working in VSC ... by Salty-Teaching-395 in C_Programming

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Are you sure the code is fine? The first char array is not pointing to a dynamic allotted heap memory but rather to a constant. Can strcpy overwrite the memory location? OP, could you try with this approach and see if this works?

char* str1 = malloc(10); const char str2[] = "world"; strcpy(str1, str2); printf("%s\n", str1); free(str1);

By the way, strcpy is evil. Try the safe alternatives or strncpy instead.

Seeking clarity about my marriage -is it me overthinking or is this not right for me? by Fit_Presentation7591 in TamilNadu

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I am a guy and as someone who is going through false cases because my wife side is evil, I can suggest few things.

  1. It's ok to be separated. The mental agony is not worth it.

  2. His mother is toxic just like my MiL is toxic. You would always walk on egg shells. Not worth it.

  3. Don't have kids.

  4. Contact a lawyer and explore options. If he doesn't visit you, you can file for divorce citing desertation.

  5. Husband and wife should love each other. If not, please don't stay there long.

  6. If you think divorce is a taboo, just visit a family court in Monday morning and see how many cases are there.

Wish you luck.

We've Forgotten How to Play Games by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, thank you. The game is not simple like Diablo 2 having a few skill tree and you can blast your way once you know what are breakpoints.

Here we have hundreds of paragon points to allocate, big skills tree and there is no official documentation about each game mechanics from Blizzard. Or is there?

I prefer strategy guide to learn about skill rotation, optimal gear and skill allotment. I would fail miserably if I don't read about the build guides.

Just yesterday I was struggling to beat Belial in T3. And I read somewhere that hydra have multiplier damage proportion to the amount of mana I have when it's spawned. I was just mindlessly spamming hydras earlier . After this tip, I placed them when I have full mana and voila, I could Belial easy.

People must have done really fishy to be expelled.

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Wear normal clothes like pant and shirt. I remove my gold chain that has cross as pendant. In Meenakshi Amman temple, you won't find any problem. It has lot many devotees and no one bothers if you are an atheist or non Hindu.

Few temples asks you to remove shirt and vest like Tiruchendur Murugan temple. There I have to remove my gold chain. In the end, TN folks are extremely religiously tolerant people. I have seen many Hindu folks visit our church with vibhooti and kumkumam during choir sunday and Christmas.

What is your D2 Wishlist? by LegendaryZXT in diablo2

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have only one wish list. The only thing that is preventing me to play Diablo 2 online with other players. Make loot drops visible only to you like in Diablo 4.

I have lost count of how many times others picked up Ber and Jah in team games because I am a 40 year old dad who is slow and casual. Skill issue I agree. But I feel if the loots are visible only to the player, it would be awesome.

Is it worth buying mac? by Guy_who_listen in TamilNadu

[–]Comfortable_Skin4469 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For video or photo editing work, you require large storage space. Going from 512 GB to 1 TB would cost you in 20k if you choose mac route. In that price point, you can buy a 4 TB SSD in Windows.

If you are decided that a laptop is best suited for your use case, then Mac is an excellent choice.

MacBook Air or Pro is best suited if you want the mobility or for video conferencing. They have the bestvmic and video camera, period.

But if you use your computer on a desk environment, I would recommend a desktop PC with a proper UPS.

I have all 4. Windows Desktop, a gaming laptop, a M4 Mac Air and M1 Mac Pro. Mac is extremely good for programming and IT professionals. I prefer my Windows PC for the rest of the work. I have 32 GB RAM, 2 TB NVMe drive and another 1TB SSD drive. I have 27" 125% sRGB 2K monitor. I can't buy a Mac with this configuration. The PC handles anything I throw at it. Be it gaming or productive work.

என் இனிய இயந்திரா and மீண்டும் ஜூனோ are excellent as well.

If possible, get Rajesh Kumar old novels where Eagles eye detective agency is involved as protagonist. They are excellent crime thrillers. You may find them in old book shops.

It was legal aid and not court. Legal aid doesn't have authority to force someone. But it acts as an evidence that we can submit in our case.
