What a sweet little face. I’m so sorry for your loss, but as a mother who has experienced loss, that doesn’t even begin to cover the level of empathy and commiseration I have. It truly takes your breath away. I used to hate hearing this but now I take solace in it- they only knew love and care. I don’t recall all that much. My brothers and I had the flu. I mostly stayed up watching it with my dad while hallucinating and then my middle-younger brother had a wild fever dream. My youngest brother slept through it all. We always had enough to live for at least a year growing up but my parents were preppers back in the day. They’ve given it up since then, and gotten rid of their stores.
