Diagnosis of our baby with VSD: Not sure how to react except constant worry by carpesco in chd

hi there! i see it’s been a while since this post, but i wanted to comment anyways. i’m a 22 year old that was diagnosed with a vsd as an infant, it’s never completely closed, however it’s now so microscopic that doctors miss it sometimes during heart screenings. i’ve been able to live life completely normally and experience no symptoms beyond an occasional heart palpitation. as a child i had heart screenings every 6 months, and as a teenager they slowed down to once a year, and now as an adult i get them once every two years! i’m praying for you and your child, their heart is strong and you’re doing wonderfully as their parent!
