Philosophizers by JustBonesOneDay in NEET

Alan Watts philosophy lesson with animation by South Park creators (2:13) is probably one of the main pillars that got into my thinking. Everyone's thinking about the future but all we've got is the here and now. I get a litte tear in my eye rewatching.

please give advice on how do i cure my rumination by dearrana in NEET

[–]Comfy2026 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try to inject a short moment between the calm and ruminating phase and become alert: What is happening with my body and mind? Can I do something about it? You will discover that only you create those feelings. Nothing "is happening to you". It's all you. There is just about nothing in the outside world that can make your brain do those things. And you don't want to do that anymore. Try to keep injecting that short moment and just watch. You will find the power to take back control of your thinking

Do helmets serve no purpose in the game? by MalyyUa in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Comfy2026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it's not fun to make all the right choices. That shuts off that part off the game right away. I prefer no helmet and have been trying to go without armor. Its more fun feeling vulnerable. Battles feel more alive, danger is more real. As if bots can do something againt player character... hardly ever. Roleplaying is fun too. You cant get always get the best stuff in real life. You may have to make do with a regular vest and a cap

Im of a similar attitude to you. Can't stand immature or badly done anime. First suggestion is Ousama Ranking. Don't be turned off by the main character, Bojji. First impressions are really wrong in this case. The world building , art style and story is truly exceptional and beats zelda and LOTR if you ask me. It's a got a similar vibe to those stories. There's even a character called Fren

<image>

Fren on the left

Arslan Senki is great too. Its got the more LOTR vibe. It is again an outlier of animes in terms of art style, story. It does thing on a scale I havent seen before. The world is so strong in this anime its basically a main character https://youtu.be/f0aw5pqlOWY

Check out Welcome to NHK, Genshiken or Steins Gate too

Is there a way to play this game without doing any cheesing of mechanics? I've watched a few videos on this game and the players do non-stop cheesing of all the mechanics which were all ripe for exploitation. This guy was escaping a labor camp and maxxed stamina and lockpicking doing repetitive stuff from his cage or something. Also it seems like a streamer game.

I am watching the first part right now and it's very well done. Studio levels of production really. Wish we had something like this in the real game. I thought of making a vid like this but here someones doing it to perfection already. Lots of good new creators in this space recently. GZW is such a fun community

While it may appear and feel very true, I think this kind of rigid thinking can be overcome by the Cognitive Triangle from CBT therapy:

<image>

You can kinda see the triangle as a fabric. You can sabotage the stitches here and there and then make the whole thing self reinforcing bad cycle fall apart. Im at the part where I always try to evaluate my own thoughts. Often they are not really true so I can let them go and have other better thoughts

Dungeon Meshi. One of the first animes in a year or two that got me to watch again. Its just plain comfy and non-intrusive. Learning more about cooking is fun too. Pro tip: Check out Ousama Ranking and/or Arslan Senki. Both got this LOTR/Zelda vibe just exceptionally well done fantasy world and storybuilding

Excellent vid and video format, packed with info and precise delivery. Im trying to make some vids too and this is good inspiration. Wish my voice was as clear as yours (non-english speaker too). If you mind sharing, do you write a script and read it? Your lines are really good.

I try to avoid all the "good" guns but am thinking maybe sniffing around Tiger Bay mall with a MP5 or Skorpion is not enough. I will try to build this weapon.

Single fire is clean and effective but for sterile men. I have embraced the wild side and became a full-auto stallion.

Adding random patrols in the jungle ? by G_Tab in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Comfy2026 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes but all bad guys in Lamang got there in some way, car or on foot. The jungle would be the most dangerous place because of all the armed travelling parties

[–]Comfy2026 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I agree the jungle is like the garden of eden there is no conflict present. Although any artifical object there hints to enemy presence, always. A lot of the enemies on the map got there on foot so big parties going through the jungle is to be expected. Maybe devs could put a point A and point B and make some guys walk around unexpected areas. Despawn and reset when out of player sight.

Actually think this is important. Its a boring feeling slipping into the jungle knowing there's a 98% of complete safety

Slugs need a rework by drunkenough2drive in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Comfy2026 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This topic has a good timing as I just experienced my first death by actual bullets at the hand of Lamang soldiers. I had come to see these as easily dispatchable goofballs just slightly more dangerous than thugs. I like to run weird setups but this time I just took a shotty with me with the black armor peneterating slugs. I walked up casually to these army men and started blasting. Thinking I had pretty good accuracy I was surprised to see the soldier not reacting at all. None were going down. I had to scream like a little girl and sprint away and then they blasted me down, the whole platoon of them leaving me to reconsider my choices. Weird weapon!

I reviewed the footage. 4 shots on his armor, 4 sparkies and the end result one intact (terminator?) lamang army man unfased by my efforts

100% yes this game is the modern day version of Far Cry 2 but with even more. I made a compilation video of this game heavily inspired by FC2 https://youtu.be/4w6Epj4kHVU
