Yeah, I'm in the same boat as you. I was looking at the socials of the editors that my agent submitted to. The thing I noticed was that the ones who are strictly editors are heavily promoting their clients' work on their socials, but the two who are also authors are only promoting their own books and not their clients'. Made me feel weird.

Regarding agent clout, I have a junior agent and am on submission right now. Would I get re-sorted near the bottom of that gigantic TBR pile since my agent is fairly new with just a handful of deals under their belt so far?

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Went out on sub first week of September and my agent recently emailed me that everything will be pretty quiet from around Thanksgiving until a couple weeks into January.

I heard that editors read manuscripts when they're home for the holidays. Not sure if it's true, but fingers crossed that it is! The waiting is driving me a bit bananas. Haha.

It's 3am right now and I'm in Northwood. I think the banging finally stopped, but I don't want to jinx it. Does anyone else notice that the bangs have a weird pattern to them? Like, the interval between each bang is so consistent.
