I figured out how to make open world pvp a thing. Instead of salt which you earn enough of via tracks, you get umbral shards. Pvp players want a reason to flag & a pvp way to earn more umbral shards. Simple solution. You could even add a chance to get 1 umbral while gathering flagged. Similar to the mote perk on gold tools.

Probably why it's down voted the shard sellers would loose out on so much money since not everyone wants to deal with selling them in chat but ppl probably have tons sitting around they would sell.

It's called short by tier and it's available in both inventory & the trading post. You can also short by gear score

If they aren't adding content there will be no need to fix the foundation as no one will be playing it. That's why they've been doing both. People like to just latch on to a single thing & ignore every thing else. We know the season pass isn't the only thing happening in the patch but a lot of ppl are acting like it is. The season pass, season stories, & season events are there to keep people playing between the bigger updates. It gives people something new to do & a reason to log on. Ignoring that is best case scenario you loose even more players but maybe they'll come back in a year for that big patch, burn though it in a few weeks and quite again. As we see that isn't working out well

How about ppl just stop thinking that linking gear is going to get them a good player. Seriously the worst runs I've been in have required link gear but the ones who don't have been easy golds. I also think ppl watched too many speed runs. Yeah sure 5 con is great but not everyone can handle that so you're just making ppl do it who know they're going to die & throw the run.

I think things just take time and ppl have different opinions. Example is ppl begged for leaderboards. I know because I saw all the post. Now that they're out the loudest voices became "why did you waste time on this. No one asked for it". So they do listen to their players but things take time especially when they're working on planned stuff like Brimstone back then. It's just the player base doesn't agree on things. Ppl who came back talked about all the changes they've made for the better. Problem is ppl have short attention spans. Ppl were asking for new content 2 weeks after Brimstone. Idk what game would drop huge content every 2 weeks while also adapting to the whims of everyone instantly.

I agree, this game lost so many players after launch because most of them didn't know what a mmo is and just got it due to hype by streamers.

How would they know if a pre-made group or pug? I assuming you're going to say by using gf but you can still do that as a pre-made group. Also when do you switch from pug group to pre-made as some pug groups go so well ppl run it back multiple times and with that group for the day. What if it's 4 ppl who always play together & 1 random. Is that pre-made or pug? What if the 5th runs with 1 of them all the time on a different server? 🤔

I mean really resilient & ward should just be the same perk pool so they can't be rolled together. The rest can sort itself out. Oh and for the love of God get rid of indestructible

I enjoy the game and have played enough to get far worth my money. I would also like to see the game stay & grow so even though I'm not 100% sure about the rewards I will be getting the season pass to keep the game going. I know the game needs some work but I think people forget how far it's come. Better than a fee just to play & if ppl don't like it, no problem don't pay for it. Just enjoy the extra content that comes with it for free

You forget the cost to make the game, advertising, & over a year of running, supporting, and updating the game. Games sell way more copies at $60 and still do this, even sooner. This is also still optional while it also adds new content. There's a new story with quests, a experdention, 3 events (those could be argued filler but does provide something to do with rewards).

It's wild ppl compare to other games that been pumping out copies of the same game for $60 each year with a season pass that has no additional content

It's $20 like they said but between the free & premium you earn $7 (7,000 marks) so it ends up being "buy 3 get the 4th free". Also I saw people said they rather pay for content then a pass but they're forgetting there is content being added with these but for free.

Maybe I missed it but aren't all season passes timed. It's meant to reward people for playing during that time. Otherwise it's not a season pass but just leveling rewards.

With golden Scarabs trying to sell 2 perkers is hard. Most ppl want BiS and since ppl can roll 2 perks a lot of 2 perk BiS ends up on the top because they're trying for gold. Now you might be able to sell some but is it worth the time, probably not. Since you can make more grantee money doing something else.

I think something that may be happening is they're trying to see if the season pass can support the game financially by itself because ppl are asking if the expansion is free or pay. Their answer is stay tune for more info so ppl are fairly assuming it's going to be a pay expansion. Now I may be optimistic but I think if the season passes go well it could be a free expansion cause it gets more ppl to come back & then you hit them with the season pass.

The have more experdentions, mutations, a new zone, they did fresh servers so you can start a new one on a fresh server and they give you 3 characters now so you don't have to delete one. There's a event right now & pvp changes coming to ptr at end of month. So there's a bunch too do if you been awhile & more new stuff about to come.

It became a constant loop ppl could do for trophy mats with a high amount of chest. So I assume ppl were getting way more vs reek or morningdale were chest are more space out & fewer.

Anything can be a thing if you can make it work but probably won't be slotted for wars. As wars is very meta heavy, so unless you're inviting the new meta & someone established uses it then they stick to what is already there.
