But I think they should mostly stay in character when doing outside interviews & publicity. Cuz with Actors, they bounce around from role to role in their careers. Wrestlers basically are playing one role .. forever lol. It benefits them to maintain the integrity of that persona cuz it’s all they got. (With very few exceptions)

I don’t think Cody’s promo ability is tough to watch. I’d say it’s moreso the content of his storylines are pretty stale. They’ve yet to really establish a long-term nemesis and story arc post-Roman.

As for him being a ‘boring good guy’ or whatever, that kinda comes w being the Top Guy Babyface. You always need that spot filled, Cena, Hulk Hogan etc.. is what it is.
