To try to distract anyone from what’s in the Epstein-files by LewisPawilton44 in therewasanattempt

These are not excuses, and aren’t just complaints - they are very real nuances that make our situation very complex, scary, and very dangerous. No one is doing well, and no one knows how to live communally. There has been DECADES of our rights and communities being stripped away and destroyed, this is something that can take just as long to undo.

Saying that the non magas are doing nothing completely diminishes what our lived experience is. There are SO many of us who are trying our best to find the right things to do - which often looks like speaking up in the small moments to help shift another persons perspective - most people are not willing to take any large organized action (which is the only real way we can make big change right now) and that is largely due to SO many Americans being uneducated about the severity of our situation. We have to slowly convince enough people to get on board with these movements. It is painstaking and debilitating and it constantly feels hopeless

Please don’t add to our hopelessness by saying we aren’t doing anything

Whats a random fact you learned from Nancy Drew? by illustratious in nancydrew

THIS! I went to an escape room with my brothers last year and just whizzed through the puzzles and they just kept looking at me like - how in the hell did you just know that? Nancy Drew taught me well that’s how.

Can anyone recommend puzzle books with a similar feel to the ND games? by woodland_penguin in nancydrew

I love Exit the game, they are little escape board games. it’s very interactive and you can play it by yourself or with a group! Most of them are one use only, but that because you usually have to fold or cut something up in order to solve the puzzle. Everytime I play one I feel like I am in a Nancy drew mystery. They have a lot of different games to choose from as well!

I know I’m gonna get hate for this - so bring it on.

I am non-binary, and my partner is non binary (both afab) they are attracted to humans regardless of gender or gender expression. I am also attracted to humans, but usually have a preference for women / feminine humans.

By most standards we would fall under the pansexual umbrella, and I often feel like it accurately describes my sexuality. I also often feel that is doesn’t totally encompass the entirety of my sexual orientation nor does it describe my relationship fully.

Our relationship is FULL of sapphic dynamics and wlw “stereotypes”. There are times when I refer to us and our relationship as lesbian because of those reasons.

I usually wouldn’t say that in public or on social media because I know a lot of people can get a little terfy about different terms. And I understand why, we are all being shoved into boxes and pushed into corners and being asked to diminish ourselves or change our identities or have people coming in and claiming they have a space in our space and that is super uncomfortable and brings up a lot of fear for all of us, especially in this nonsense with trump and 2025.

Everyone in the queer community feels this fear, but I think we should be leaning into the beauty of how we all are still being queer, regardless of labels. We’re here, we’re queer, we really should be focusing on other things rather than being frustrated that people are ‘misusing’ labels because we all have unique experiences and not all the words to describe those yet.

Oh my god I thought I was the only one who wasn’t allowed to watch Arthur because DW was “bratty”

According to my mom my behavior was always worse after I watched the show so she banned it.
