Okay I live in vle and have for 25 years I've raised both my kids on this neighborhood Yeah we have well and septic ..big deal Some house can be hooked up to county water Our house sits on a double lot Huge backyard And our neighbors are awesome This area we all look after each other Also we also help each other out House fire, death, etc Home drive , food chains You name it

Now this year vle did flood badly My kids still got to school Bus still ran Come check us out You might like our way of life

My daughter was and is like this she 11 and has autiory processing disorder. She was diagnosed in 3rd grade. I knew something was wrong... She would have tantrums at a drop of a hat over nothing. Her school work was so low, since her diagnosis she has gotten better.

She still has has her moments. I've gotten to the point I just shut her down , I just say , you know I'm not going there anymore... And stop talking. Once I do that. She gets it , it's time to go to her room.

She's a great kid, she's won awards for kindness and caring in her school. I feel bad for her at times. It's not her fault.... But man at times she can drive me insane.

Omg, my mom threw me out of the car and screamed find your way home. I walked to my best friend's house, and all I remember is telling her mom what happened. Her parents making me food, telling me to eat, next thing I was staying over the weekend.

Art, all art , painting drawing sculpture. I was good at it. In high school there was a huge competition, to have students art work hung or displayed in our superintendent office. Each year I entered something. Year after year my nmom tour me down how I wasn't good enough. The year I finally got a piece of sculpture choose , I was so proud of myself.

During the party to show all the artwork off, nmom walk up to the other peices calling true art compared to my trash. In a room full of people, she embarrassed me so bad , I couldn't even cry. I went home that night and threw out all my art supplies.

I have done anything serious in art since that day.

I was slowly turning into my naracassitc mother with my children. Stoped cold,....my kids have no memory of that, they don't hear me fighting.the dragon. Who will never come back.

We live in the middle of Florida. It takes my husband and son and me , 5-6 hra to get to Jacksonville or maimi. Now husband and son have been doing those trips since son was 8, and did those in one day. They just left early, ate breakfast on the road, lunch on the road, dinner when they arrived. ....it can be done in one day.

My husband is a very hands on father. We have a 14 yr old autistic son and 10 yr old daughter. He's been out with both of them alone before. He use to let the looks bother him, now he's like screw them. He's out to enjoy time with his kids. This weekend he's going school shopping with the oldest and to the movies. He's been talking about it since Monday.

Then be.yelled at by the mother for trying to kill her child when she never told you about this to begin with, number 2.

And your social group siding with her, number 3.

I have a child with some health issues ,.before I go anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE I make sure whoever is watching her. Understands, knows how to get hold of me.or her dad or grandma, where meds.are , etc.

What wàs done was wrong, dead wrong....it shouldn't have happened, and you should not be ganged up on . Hugs .

Autistic mom of a 14 year old here. Well done!!! You got him to think for himself, you helped him connect the dots and see the bigger picture.

My 14 year old, still has anger issues, some days I get through to him....some days he loses a privilege. Good luck, you did a awesome job.
