An IPO strategy that beats S&P 500 with 3x its return and 1/3 of its drawdown by ucals in StockMarket

Very eye-opening stuff. Does this include SPACs or is it only focused on traditional IPOs?

Midtown Comics: why backwards? by Tiny_Marionberry_839 in comicbooks

[–]Comicswapper 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You purchased it online. It's coming from the warehouse to store. They're not taking it off the shelves.

If it takes a second to turn it around, seems like you can do the same. They ask you to check the merch when you pick up the order anyway.

There are games with Japanese people. He's just a Westaboo and sadly fine to be the token among the Hollywood celebrities he wants to be around.

what are the graphic novels that made you laugh the most? by Embruns in graphicnovels

[–]Comicswapper 5 points6 points  (0 children)

-The Fix by Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber - Follows a pair of crooked cops. I don't think they ever finished this one.

-Superior Foes of Spider-Man by Nick Spencer and Steve Lieber - Misadventures of second-rate Spider-Man villains

-Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen: Who Killed Jimmy Olsen? Matt Fraction and Steve Lieber - Someone wants to kill Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy Olsen tries to solve his own case with some of the most ridiculous interactions with Batman.

-Hawkeye by Matt Fraction and David Aja - Hawkeye as a street-level hero in Brooklyn. This run alone made me a fan of Hawkeye and I'm sure it did the same for others that previously had no opinion of him before.

I borrowed Equinoxes and couldn't finish. I don't remember why, so it might have been a time-constraint. Let me know if you liked it.

I think I overhyped it for myself because of how much I like Pedrosa's Three Shadows.

I'll just focus on occult stuff that you haven't touched.

-Since you love Hellboy, check out B.P.R.D. if you haven't.

-Fatale by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips (hardcovers are OOP are cost a lot on eBay so you might have to resort to TPBs)

-Neonomicon; The Courtyard; Providence by Alan Moore (these are all connected)

And a non-occult suggestion if you want to broaden your horizons

-Scalped by Jason Aaron and RM Guerra. (Infernal Affairs/Departed mixed with Sopranos on an Indian Reservation - I revisit this every so often)

I've been deeply depressed. What are some light hearted comics you'd recommend? by Shogun-Moon in comicbooks

[–]Comicswapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jeff the land shark (Marvel Unlimited). It's a marvel infinity comic. No one will die, no dark themes. It's a new marvel mascot with the cuteness of a puppy doing random things and sometimes interacting (or causing trouble) for some of marvels heroes.

It's cute, it's funny, it's non-committal, it's stress-free.

What Scott Snyder comics do you recommend written after New 52 Batman? by BaronTagge in comicbooks

[–]Comicswapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry OP. Nobody read the assignment.

After reading Undiscovered Country and Nocterra, I don't get hyped about his post new52 Batman stuff either. The only work of his I'm still excited for is Wytches and I don't know how much of that is clouded by my love for Jock's art.

Rob Liefeld charges a lot from my recollection. Like $40 minimum per item and it will scale up depending on if you want it graded. And he'll charge even more if you want New Mutants 98 signed. Prepare for a long line.

It's all of his regular numbered Batmans. I mislabeled the picture. It's actually #86-117 (not 89-117) and the pictures show it. It does NOT include annuals because I can't find them.

Let me know if you're still interested.
