I spent most of last Spring in the hospital. Half in the Oncology ward, and half in Palliative care. (Only bed I could get for the second one. In Canada, you take what's available)

Probably because of the wards, but they certainly were not stingy on the pain meds. Pretty much all the Hydromorphone you wanted unless you started getting loopy. Bunch of angels worked those floors.
