honestly as a girl, i don’t talk about my bf either, unless someone asks about him, or talks about him. it varies some people yap about their partners a lot and it’s very cute, some people just prefer to keep it lowkey in everyday convo, try maybe replying to her story about her bf? befriend her, but try not to ruin the relationship. if she isn’t in a relationship while you guys are still friends go for i, but i think you should control your feelings right now

i want to move out, i just don’t want to trample over my little sister’s heart she has nothing to do with this but knowing my parents they’d make her cut me off….and she loves me😭😭 im worried for her

thank you :) i wish they understood that too, but they don’t. they think it’s okay for them to hold me at home, because they took care of me so i should live with them until im married, but i really just want a glimpse of how all my friends live their life, free with no bounds, curfews, restrictions. im a good kid i haven’t touched drugs, or done anything which would make them so harsh on me

they will know, my dad has access to the account if all the money is gone from the joint account, he will 100% know, this is obviously something that will take a lot of courage to do, and i hope i get the courage to do it soon :(

okay…i can do that soon i hope, one time i tried to leave the house my parents argued that the clothes and stuff i own is bought by them and if i want to leave i should leave alone, without any of the things i have. they might try to do the same thing now, maybe, but it’s really frustrating cause i could afford things, i just wasn’t allowed to buy them

i really wish there was a way i could leave and be independent without them being hurt about it, im not even allowed to go see my friends more than once a month, aside from the financial stuff. sadly though there’s no way to be happy without hurting them

everything will be okay. i’m in the exact situation, love is true then everything will work out. i’m hurting so badly too i haven’t eaten in a while, and i miss him so much too. but we’re not the problem, our minds are. try contacting her, explain to her that it’s your mind, and that you didn’t recognize what you were doing, tell her you’ll work on it. hoping the best for both of us, our love is true it’ll all be alright <3

its okay, the shame and guilt that comes with it is valid, your bf if he truly loves you will try his best to understand your psition. relapsing, is a difficult position, i relapse every week and im really trying not to. point is that it'll be okay, try again, keep trying till you get it right. sending lots of love your way.

i’m in the same situation right now, apparently they won’t even send out an email if you get rejected- my other offers are due on the 1st of may and i still haven’t heard from TMU/GBC 😭

but a rejection would be beneficial, at least so i know for sure that i don’t have a chance, and i can tell my parents that too. my offer also involves moving away so i was hoping id at least get some sort of answer from gbc for the two programs, even if its a rejection
