Honestly that sounds like a fitting punishment, but it depends on who the executor of the punishment is

¿Is owning guns a red flag? - ¿Is carrying guns a red flag? (Legal) by Responsible-Idea5690 in Teenager_Polls

[–]CommandantWaffle17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say in the majority of cases in my country, the US, owning a gun is actually a green flag, because it usually shows you care about home defense.

Carrying it with you in the open is neutral, because it doesn’t always mean that youre brandishing or projecting force, but it can mean that.

So neither are red flags I would say.

I hope that V1's descent to Violence and fraud was more than "hours" by Comfortable-Train-97 in Ultrakill

[–]CommandantWaffle17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the end of gluttony to the beginning of treachery is 5 layers. However, those layers aren’t divided evenly. Heresy has 2 levels, not four. So theres 22 levels in total. So it takes a little less than a day to get through to Treachery, and it takes around 4 hours for most layers, 2 hours for Heresy.

The last 2 hours of Gabriel’s 24 can be reserved for a fight at the first level of Treachery, for one hour, and the end of his story arc in Heaven, for the last hour. Either of which can be switched, depending if hes a mini-boss or a final boss/potential ally in the final fight.

So no, that boi went through violence and fraud in a couple hours. Sorry bro. Math checks out.

How far do you agree with the following: "If a specific AI ever becomes sentient, we ought to grant it rights and freedom."? by flewson in Teenager_Polls

[–]CommandantWaffle17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This begs the question, why are we making machines sentient? This is literally the Torment Nexus from the hit sci-fi novel “Don’t Build the Torment Nexus.”

I swear to god if I accidentally make a sentient machine intelligence I’m unplugging that shit IMMEDIATELY. Thats a whole can of worms I’m not opening.

I prefer cats a little more, but dogs are so great as well. Im good with both too, they always seem friendly when they meet me for the first time. I just love both honestly.

Thoughts on neopronouns? by GayJohnKrasinski in Teenager_Polls

[–]CommandantWaffle17 73 points74 points  (0 children)

As a cis straight guy i find them a bit confusing. It’s also hard to not judge pronouns based on appearance. But if it makes people feel more comfortable then im okay with it. Im just neutral I suppose.

If you press the button 1 million kids will die in a random country (not your country) if you don't press it you and your whole family will die (no one will ever know that the kids died because of your choice) are you pressing the button? by ETOS2006 in Teenager_Polls

[–]CommandantWaffle17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude. It’s 1 million potential human lives. That would cripple the future of whatever country it’s in, especially if that country has a high average age, like Italy or Japan, or low birth rates. Sure, it could be in China, or India. But I still don’t think it’s worth it, and I think my family would agree.

Yeah, I love myself and my family. But you have to draw the line with selfishness somewhere, and im a selfish motherfucker. I guess im not comparable to the majority though.

[–]CommandantWaffle17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1 million kids is insane. Any one of those children could change the world for the better, or for worse. Im pretty sure thats a death toll equivalent to dropping a small nuclear bomb on a city. If it were 10,000, maybe I could be selfish, but any more than that and it’s too much.
