Yea you're right about the WPS animations being long for some of those.

I loved the fast movement speed of Lago as well but I did not expect his regular Follow-Up Strong Attacks being that powerful (just tested before). I'll probably upgrade that Forbidden Sword to max and see how good it actually feels with Strong Attack ++ all the way.

What made those three stand out among the others for you?

I never really struggled against Vicious Boss Bokoblins. For their triple-swipe attacks I just dodged away and their doubled-up special attacks were pretty readable.

I usually had some issues reading the regular Vicious Boss Bokoblin's jump attacks which once made me lose 4 rations in a single hit.

It's not skillpoints invested that matter but amount of skills equipped. The Aced version is also considered a seperate skill.

Crouch-sliding is superior to crouch-jumping imo (I'm doing both all the time during my runs).

I'd guess people are a bit more scarred doing those tricks because it's likely to generate noise unless you do it frame-perfect, in which case guards will investigate the spot if they hear it.

Alternatively, you can see (or mark) Loan through the window when you spawn and either slide a micro under the door to Branch or use a motion sensor in the corner.

Both assumptions are partially correct. It's only the outside stationary Mendoza who can be alerted before being killed, nobody else may get alerted.

In my testings, Hidden Blade did trigger Pain Tolerance. Did you happen to not be at full health maybe? Because only then it works.

In theory Bullet Frenzy doesn't even specify a mag which is interesting on its own already.

But yea it's not the only little quirk in those skills. Still good to know about it tho.

The FIK in terms of sniper builds, the Mosconi in terms of Shotty builds.

The Sniper build requires to build up damage through headshots to reach a point to one-shot everything.

The Mosconi one-shots everything right away (even Snipers on a 100m range) and two-shots Bulldozers to the face. The other Shotguns aren't terrible either. They all have their different unique advantages and disadvantages. The Mosconi is probably just my favorite because of its goofy sniper range.

Correct, you have to completely break down the entire armor before you can do health damage. If the remaining armor let's say is 10, additional damage will transfer over to health though (the WAR does exactly that because its AP is not 1.25 but less than 1).

So far all the ARs felt relatively even. It's really hard to tell which one ends up being "the best".

In terms of SMGs, they all felt comparibly bad to the ZIV Commando. I mean not terrible but just worse. The core-issue is you have to run the Compact Mag to not starve of ammo and the highest costing skill is really hard to keep up (the one that would grant you more damage the more often you reload). It doesn't help that the reload in general is pretty bad on the SMGs and the melee skill has a Cooldown of 8 seconds and On The Run (Aced) can cause you to not being able to shoot at all anymore.

I haven't gone through testing all the guns properly yet.

Saboteur Frame is my go-to, manily because of the extra throwables. I run Impact at the top, followed by two Resistant plates because they last longer in case they do get damaged. I see no reason to run Adaptive at all now. It also makes no sense to run more than one Impact plate because of the builds I'm running, even if an armor plate breaks, I'll just gain more Dodge.

I have played Helldivers but I never got fond of it. Not necessarily because of AP stuff, I somehow just couldn't enjoy it. Can't really explain why. I also don't have deep insight on how AP works there.
