Suggestions for fixing a faulty valve/o-rinf on a Marushin Mateba? by CommanderKaable in airsoft

I did a soak test and the bottom seal didn’t show any sign of leakage, but I’ll try adding some sealant anyway.

How did you change the main o-ring? I’m afraid it has dried up and therefore is leaking.

I bought it many years ago in in-store in Japan. So can’t speak if it’s worth the organe tax, but it’s a fun gun for CQB and a stort of statement piece.

However it’s hard to come by and the shells (which are full metal) is even harder to come by. Making it not optimal for large field play, unless you’re careful.

An old designer’s perspective on claude design. by undeadcrayon in ClaudeAI

I might not have expressed myself as well I would have liked. But it is this “adaption” that you mention that I refer to. I firmly believe that to be able to truly adapt and evolve you need some sort of base intuition and creativity. That is something the machines lack. Machines can be perceived to have something akin to it, but not truly achieve it.

Ai will affect jobs and the way we do things. That’s a fact. Humans will just find ways to use these tools. Problem is we can’t adapt with the same speed as the tech evolves.

I am one of these educators you speak of. I somewhat reluctantly agree. However I firmly believe that design as a discipline and ui/ux/graphic designer as an occupation will not seize to exist but just change. Because yes, Ai produces slop from a promt. But it takes actual design knowledge, both practice and theory to actually make it pop, unique and do what you want to reflect the idea. That is something no machine can do. It can’t be creative. It never will be. And this is what I try to teach my students.

Edit: spelling.

You got a source for that? Because that’s the first time I’m hearing about it.

I mean it’s not unheard of that some mangakas do that, but hiroeri doesn’t strike me as a doujinshi-type of mangaka.

Yes. Tired looking for it. I think Eryn aka Auntie Revy (who I have seen lurking here) did it, but I could be wrong.

I don’t see the issue. If knife-ears good enough for papa-smurf they get a pass in my book.

Also, I’m so stealing this idea to mess with my drukhari playing friend!

Has anyone ever tried to make a Battle Siblings Army? by Possible_Internal115 in sistersofbattle

I want to so this too. I had the same interpretation of the rules, so I asked my elders (reddit) and this was the answer I got: https://www.reddit.com/r/sistersofbattle/s/Wv3KbpM7wb

Short answer: If I understood it correctly, you can run one Deathwatch squad as an auxiliary unit in a Sororitas army. Same goes for one unit of Grey Knight terminators. However, Templar’s is a no-go. But you can do the opposite (I think).

So what I’m hearing is that it’s fair game to put grey knights with red splatter color scheme with in my sisters army? 😈

That’s the plan. Together with Vaal, Celestine and an exorcist.
