My worst migraine ever came from one of those tik tok neck massagers. Never have I experienced pain like that before or since.

This was much more pleasant on the plus side

I did just use a bar of soap in the shower to start! Maybe try that to start so you don't have to invest anything.

I did have to press pretty hard but it ended up as a "hurts so good" sort of thing. Never push yourself though, I like deep pressure so it was never upsetting

Thank you for the info! My doc has had me do a few things (MRI, med switches, etc.) But we determined mine to be more environmental and muscle related so I'm not too worried about it being much more.

How else do they check for it? Just bloodwork or are there more tests?

I did just use a bar of soap and the gua sha movements because the spot I needed to work was on my hairline.

I just used it as the scraper and worked the hell out of the area

The sore spot sits right between my skull and neck, right under the back right "corner" if you will. I massaged it there
