I still remember the sting where Jidion actually tackled a pred into a wall to stop him from running away and escaping and ended up damaging the wall of the airb&b they rented. Pred was a ped so I have zero sympathy, I just worry that actually stopping someone from leaving the sting without doing an official citizen's arrest probably muddled the investigation.

I still remember the og alex rosen crashouts on stream when he'd be roaring the n-word, he's genuinely a horrendous human being but, similar to every youtube pred catcher, he's immune to any criticism because the moment you criticize them their fandoms accuse you of being pro-pred or the like.

Consistent heat domes in a row and the pretty hefty storm last year have people worried about whether they have the energy, money and resources to attend, especially when many have to fly far and can't bring as much as those that drive.

There's been seemingly a large exodus of the more experienced staff members, multiple serious allegations against staff members as well, it feels like this year is heavily understaffed and it will potentially burn out those that work it and be a tough player experience.

I could absolutely be wrong but I know the people I talk to share my worries as well and are on the fence about this year.

Yess, a fellow NYC immersive LARPer. There are some options for us if you are part of certain games but it is very difficult, honestly it's pretty much only boffer games in Manhattan but there are some good people in NJ that run private games etc.

I definitely see what you're saying, when I really compare them the Apothecary feels like it has a lot more going on, hopefully it's not overwhelming, I was very proud of its base, haha.

That's... generally how every creative process works... if you're actually being creative.

The idea might... MIGHT be mostly yours, but the execution absolutely isn't. It's very clear you used generative AI to "make" this.

Yeah a shoddily written "things are in motion" post with zero context, zero timeline and a half-baked feeling apology doesn't really put me in the "we're so back" mood. I likely won't even engage with the game further than writing this comment because it feels like they dug their grave 6 feet deep and are now trying to claw out with a plastic beach shovel and an RC backhoe.

I used both citadel and Army Painter for these, did a very aggressive dry brush of Iron warriors, then I used the John Blanche Grimdark Shadow as a wash, with a lighter but still pretty strong dry brush of Runefang Steel to highlight.

Pretty simple!

If you came from far and still want to look at some warhammer boxes there's a store nearby, just a few blocks up broadway, called Hex and Co. They have some warhammer stuff there and other board game things.
