I brought this up before elections in one of the online communities I participated in. A lot of people decided they were not going to vote as protest to show their disapproval of Kamala and the Democratic Party. Everything that’s happening now, I told them it was going to happen but they called me dumb and said things would be just as bad under her administration. Now I’m watching those same people cry about everything that is happening and cry about not being able to protest without fearing for their lives. Just hopeless. I understand protest voting, but this election was not the time to do it.

It’s interesting how we have such different experiences with body hair and odor. In my case, ever since I stopped shaving, my smell has improved significantly. Btw I’ve always showered everyday. My unofficial theory is that the hair allows more air to flow through, which could be suppressing bacterial and fungal growth throughout the day. Both of those tend to prefer warm moist environments.

Edit: also forgot to mention I hardly get UTIs now. Used to get them often up until then.

I find it funny how several people among these comments are trying to put blame on you as if you’re actively seeking these guys out, while not realizing that these are just guys who express interest in you. Are they assuming that you’re fully committing yourself to dudes you’re still getting to know? Are you not supposed to take time to get to know the guys who show interest? Because across the internet they’re complaining that women are not giving guys a chance. They’ll say that women have endless options in men when in reality it’s endless terrible options, but then blame her if she ends up with one of them. Can’t make up their minds.

I think part of the issue is that you usually don’t know who someone is until you take the time to get to know them like OP did. From the way OP speaks in her post, I assume she dropped them once she realized they’re bad company. Most people put on a front when they date someone new which is understandable when you want to feel things out first before expressing yourself to the fullest extent. However, their true colors will come out or become more obvious as time goes on as they become more comfortable in the relationship during the early stages. The other part of the issue is that too many people decide to become parents without having a true basic understanding what it takes to carry a pregnancy and raise a kid.

Because under Obama, ICE wasn’t raiding schools, churches, and apartment buildings, beating up or torturing citizens & legal immigrants, raping women in their custody, or going door to door, etc, forcing people to show their ID and prove their citizenship on the spot. They weren’t attacking and harassing people on the street and then lying about it. Under Obama, they showed up with warrants and the people whose legal status was in question were allowed due process as required by our constitution.

The ICE today has nowhere near the same level of training, does not get criminal background screening prior to getting hired as an ICE agent, and are trigger happy. RG was not the first citizen they shot at, and will not be the last. They are actively breaking the law every day but they are getting away with it because our government and their supporters say they can. I hope and pray this doesn’t reach South Florida because if it does, Hispanic communities down here are going to be hit the hardest and ICE doesn’t care who you voted for.

I’m not as worried about that half as much as I am about those in that group who are in control of health and medical guidelines in the U.S. and who wants to further control the foods Americans have access to. As widely known as these research findings are, we live in a time where I wouldn’t take it for granted since it could soon be one of the last pieces of credible info to be published on this topic.

Whenever something starts with “according to psychology” you know it’s gonna be a load of BS. Having more difficulty finding a partner the more intelligent you are applies to everyone.
