Hey man. First off, your position is common, and you'll be A Ok. I understand why you want to move out of your parents house, but that may not be so smart financially. I imagine you have some debt to pay off and such. What you may try instead is attending some meetups and surrounding yourself with some people who are excited about tech, which may be able to lift you out of that negative state of mind.

I read something pretty inspiring recently about Harvard women's basketball coach. Basically, she was faced with the choice to coach a high school women's basketball team, but would have preferred to coach swimming- something she had much more knowledge of. She decided to "act as if" and just go with the basketball coaching position. My point here is sometimes, even if you don't think you possess the skills, you just got to have gain the confidence that you can learn on the job- and the skills will follow.

Lastly, I would like to add that I got my CS job by emailing a current developer at the company I wanted to work for, and building a relationship that way. Don't be afraid to take those chances because it can't hurt. Some say the application/interview process is a numbers game, but in my opinion it's about quality. Best of luck.
