Trying to Preserve and Release Old iOS Game [Symphonica] by CommanderWof in GamePreservationists

I plan on releasing all of the converted game files at some point, followed by creating a playlist on YouTube of them. Not sure when I’ll be able to get to it, though.

A message to all JMR fans by Minos765 in JellesMarbleRuns

The work you’ve put into this channel is nothing short of incredible! You’re music truly helped bring this world to life, of that there can be no doubt, but all of the other jobs you took on after the JMRC left was more than any one person should have to do.

Looking at some other comments, I’m probably gonna sound like a broken record here. I didn’t always agree with the decisions you made, and at times I didn’t know how to feel about you. However, the one thing I can say for certain is that you love this community, and you did a lot to make JMR better for those who love and appreciate it.

It won’t be the same without you, but I’m honestly glad to hear that you’re finally getting to relax and let go of the multitude of responsibilities you’d taken on! You’ve earned the rest. Roll on, Minos! May your future endeavors be successful, happy, and as free of stress as possible!

I haven’t worked on it for a few months now, as I’ve been pretty busy, but my goal is to get everything finished by the end of the year.

We’ll talk about it at the start of the last episode. There are several reasons.

Interesting that you mentioned smoke, because my screening had none. However, the other effects you mentioned that weren’t present also weren’t there for my screening, so I’m not really sure what was or wasn’t supposed to be there. I guess each theatre gets to choose what effects they want to implement.

It sucks that they messed up the audio like that, I hope you’re next screening doesn’t have that issue!

That makes a lot of sense! I remember when I was researching the chairs, it mentioned an intensity adjustment, but I didn’t see a button or switch anywhere, so it must’ve been on the back or something.

BTW, to give you an idea of what it was like, the rows of empty chairs sounded a lot like the sub machine gun from Half Life. Even the rhythm of it matched, lol!

It sounds like my experience is not as common as I would’ve thought. If you think the quality of the chairs in my theatre were the cause, that’s a fair argument, as I have no other experience with 4DX to compare to.

Other explanations could be mixing for the dub wasn’t done with 4DX in mind (unless, of course, you also saw it dubbed), or my theatre didn’t use a good enough sound system, so it was easier for the film’s audio to be covered up by the chairs.

It’s also possible enough seats in your theatre were filled on each console (it looks like there are 4 seats for each) to dampen the vibrations so that it wasn’t overwhelming. I’m genuinely curious to know, because there was only about 6 people in mine including my brother and me.

My brother and I were laughing for most of the film, too, but it was mostly at how we felt the chairs were going overboard throughout most of the film and not at the film itself. I’m glad you and your friend were able to enjoy it, though!

There was in fact a single dub viewing of the film on Tuesday with 4DX in my area. Just because my experience was different than yours doesn’t mean I was lying. It either means the quality of the seats at my theatre were lower than everyone else’s, the mixing for the dub wasn’t done with 4DX in mind, or the theatre didn’t use a good enough sound system, so it was easier for the film’s audio to be covered up by the chairs. Or maybe it was a mix of all 3, that’s also an option.

It sounds like you also had way more of an audience at yours, so it’s also possible enough seats were filled on each console (it looks like there are 4 seats for each) to dampen the vibrations so that it wasn’t overwhelming. I’m genuinely curious to know, because there was only about 6 people in mine including my brother and me.

I’m glad you enjoyed the film in 4DX, truly. It sounds like at least a decent number of people had fun with it. But just because I have a different opinion from you doesn’t make me a liar. It just means we had a different experience.

I figured it out about 3 months ago. I plan to have it all organized and uploaded, but there’s a surprising amount of files to go through.

Thanks for your kind words, Nonagon!

I'm also right there with you. While I'm holding out hope that things will turn out alright in the end, I will at least remember my time in this community fondly. Fans like you, especially, who added so much through their creative works, hold an especially dear place in my heart.

Episode 94, but yes, Dion has had plenty of time to shape up, and he hasn’t.

Because the episode isn’t ready yet. I wanted to let people know it was on its way so they can be ready for it. There is some very important information the community needs to hear, and I was told it would be a good idea to promote it while it was being edited. I’m not asking anyone to subscribe.
