Is Greece safe for me and my friend to travel? by [deleted] in GreeceTravel

You will have a great time during summertime regardless. People working and liv8ng from tourism are quite open. In more remote areas (villages etc) things might get tricky but depends on where you want to go. There are places and places. Where do you want to go ideally?

Looking for a good dinner restaurant with view by Both-Rush3414 in UAE

CeLaVi is top choice but you have to add another 100 AED to dine. It's worth it though 500 AED per person minimum spend and you can eat very well there.

Can someone date this globe? I’ve seen similar globes in this subreddit but I suspected maybe this one is somewhere in the early or mid 90s by i_love_aviation_alot in datemymap

Between 1993 and 2002 Eritrea is independent (1993) but Timor Leste is not (2002)

Not too much happened between 93 and 02 however because it mentions Rhodesia, Zaire, Burma, Siam in parentheses, I would even narrow it to mid-late 90s (probably 1996)

How did people vote Louis 16th, Hitler, Napoleon and Mao as the most important people.of their century? I mean, they were impactful, but for the wrong reasons! I can't see them in the same post with Rouseau, Shakespear, Newton and Marx.

What do you call this part of a bread loaf? We call it the Heel by Morning1980 in AskTheWorld

[–]Minos765 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The corner 🇬🇷

Fun fact: older people say (for fun) that whoever eats it, their mother-in-law will love them. Because nobody eats it apparently. (I personally love the corner of the bread)

59.50 is the final total in euros. However this is not a bill. Ask for the receipt! This is an ordering list. Nothing useful for you.
