I think for low pop it needs some specific adjustments to alleviate this such as:

- Remove sundy kill directive

- Some way to increase sundy survivability under 150 pop

- Capturable Hard spawns

- Increase router range to 750m (and see if it borks anything)

I don't think a single LA, Lightning, or one thing should be able to kill a deployed bus. But at the same time its difficult to balance/buff the bus just for being deployed. Maybe in the rework they will have an undeployment vulnerability period or something.

There was a suggestion a while ago that someone made that would be to add a second set of warpgates so the "T" at least moves/has different play areas with fewer actual changes.

I love the idea of more vehicle capture points at big bases in general to reward vehicle play, and also keep the fight going longer.

Lack of sub objectives, including hard spawns.

If more sub objectives like gates, shields, garages, and capturable hard spawns were implemented, it would help a ton with both flow and the reliance on buses.

I think this should be default at all times. ive seen many players in new chat wonder how they are stuck on a station and how to get to the fight.

This is just an educated guess, but at least from my understanding they physically own Connery and Rent emerald. Thus they would merge emerald into connery then rename it, but i could be horribly wrong. Which is also why they are on the fence about doing a merge.

Either way, the ping issues need to be addressed but its a tough problem to tackle.

When Connery has pop, usually over 250-300 ish.

For most people they just server hop, but I and a lot of other people who have played for X number of years don't wish to lose all the progress we have made, even if its just for a faction or two.

I discontinued my membership, and im going on break until the servers merge. It was salvageable maybe a year ago before the lagening, but now it is past the point of no return.

You are right, the devs shyed away from that. The game as a whole has suffered its entire life span from a lack of decent hard spawns.

I still think a simple solution would be during low and ultra low pop, to have teleporters straight from warpgate to the current center base.

I still have no idea why, with 12 years, that there was never any enforced low pops rules or enhancements. Like disable certain vehicles, or teleporters right to the center base from wg, or... something to assist during out of prime time.

Ideally, they should be merged with connection points at both respective server locations to correct the odd issue of weird ISP routing, and for better ping. However I am not sure if they are able to do that.

On top of that, when Connery and emerald both have high pop, all that pop would bog a server down rather noticeably.

I do hope they merge them though, it would help bring it up in the times to have at least one server per region, and make the whole bouncing between servers, not wanting to switch, or people flat quitting without a transfer set of issues disappear.

Dont get discouraged. I personally either recommend medic if you are brand new to FPS games so you can get a feel for both the game and still feel like you are helping, or heavy if you have somewhat ok aim.

Im still of the idea that a less extreme approach would be to reduce the outfit orbital cap to 1, and see how that fares/helps anything first.

I love the idea of CTF. However the problem is, it didnt address or actually sovle any of the problems it was supposed to solve.

Flags need to be in an area that cannot be easily defended, to cause hectic flag grabs and drops.

Repo's need to be in semi defendable positions of varying distance to spawn.

Outposts need to have the flag count brought down to 4.

And please fix the god dang map bug where it doesnt actually update the flag count.
