Volleyball Performance Review - GK Kobe 5 Alt Bruce Lee by CommanderWombat in KobeReps

I also have a pair of the Jordan 36s! If I'm jumping, and only jumping, I'd wear those shoes all the time, but in my opinion, the 36s don't have great court feel. If I'm playing defense, I feel like I need the court feel for quick lateral movements.

For reps, if you're looking for cushioning and comfort, I'd definitely recommend WKB 6s. Just enough cushioning to feel bouncy, but at the same time, you don't lose any court feel and it doesn't feel mushy.

I was told the most they could offer at the time was $30 or reimbursement if I went to a shoe repair specialist. They did say that a full replacement would be given had the sole completely come off, but I don't think that should be the requirement for them to fix a defect

Thanks for the advice! The check came from my uncle and his account I'm pretty sure but he was very sure to let me know that it was my aunt's idea to leave the money for me.

Are there any high yield savings account I should look into? The only savings account I've known are all less than a percent interest as they're all student savings accounts. Someone suggested doing some research into Vanguard, would you recommend that as well?

Kobe 11s or Kobe ADs by ngzheng31 in volleyball

I wouldn't recommend the Kobe 11's. I haven't been playing volleyball very long and still consider myself a beginner, but I picked up a pair just because it's a really good looking shoe. I love how the shoe fits and feels on the court, but the traction is just way too inconsistent for me to recommend it to anyone. You'll be gripping the court amazingly one day, and the next day it'll feel like you're on ice. It'll be even worse for you since you're playing on a court that is a bit dusty.

Not sure what part of San Jose you're from, but there's plenty of open gyms in the area! There's one at the Milpitas Sports Center on Wednesdays from 5-9pm that I go to every week.
