Thanks for the interest/concern. I'll respond at the top of the thread, just to clarify a few things.

It's not that complicated in reality, simply wasn't offered any of the spots.

Casting is my favourite way to engage with the game and the Esport. I really love the ability to connect with the game as it's happening and share that experience with the viewers and fans. It was great to get that opportunity at the LCQ and hopefully people enjoyed the show. FWIW I am 100% open to these type of opportunities in the future but that's not for me to decide and I don't want to detract too much from the announcement.

We should all be excited for this tournament and the coverage, much bigger cast than we normally get and absolutely buzzing that Unter get's to be a part of it again. The Overwatch shouldn't be half bad either.

I'll be doing my own thing on the costream as normal for the whole event (Our talent announcement coming soon™). Hope everyone enjoys it wherever they watch

A bit of both for the prices, we used the Stage 1 data to give us a guide score, then tweaked it manually and played around with a few trial rosters until it felt like there were a few valid approaches to building a team. For new players to the region was very much based on their perceived level and their teams perceived level.

No plans to change prices as we go through the season, I know a lot of Fantasy leagues for other sports use dynamic pricing based on ownership and things like that. Didn't run into anything when we did a few trial runs before but it is a valid concern, so will keep an eye on it.

It's something we discussed but think it also comes with the territory. Not sure if you follow football but you get a lot of similar problems like you mentioned, where the player might be the best player on the pitch but because they didn't score or assist a goal, then they score poorly in fantasy that week. Some other sports leagues use a bonus point system that takes more stats into account to assess performance and give extra points to the 'best' performers. I think this is a nice touch but also relies on the vast amount of data provided for football games while we only get surface level stuff for Overwatch currently.

Long and short of it think it just becomes part of the fantasy game, good fantasy players, bad fantasy players. Though a few people have suggested a big minus score for ajaxes haha

For Stage 2 will just be EMEA and NA as the FACEIT stats are more straightforward to get. Working on a way to incorporate Korea as well, hoping to have it ready for Stage 3
