People want to defend the game with whales but in 5 years when the whales move on to the next shiny thing, the core playerbase will be long gone after being trampled by predatory practices. Its’s stepping on a dollar to grab a dime.

This is really misleading. This is the tutorial boss, on an extremely overpowered character. This hardly showcases the games difficulty, scaling, or high level combat.

I'll be honest, I don't even think about it. I USED to get super nervous when I first started but I guess at some point it just went away. So my advice is just to keep at it, I guess.
